I can’t attest to its comfort but my grand daughter sleeps well in her crib so it must be comfortable. It is well made and I like that it has a removable cover for washing. It came vacuum packed in a small box, expanded quickly, and didn’t smell though we left it to air out for a few days. It was important to us that the mattress is chemical free. Overall a great purchase
