My battery on my iPhone had died, got it replaced but than my phone had to be fully reset a restored a the geek squad agent Carter was very pleasant a nice to work with! I was locked out of my iCloud account an he the agent was very patient while I tried to figure out my password. He said it cost 40 dollars an would only take like 5 minutes, it ended up taking about 40 but he kept coming out to tell us it was working but was going very slow!

It's always daunting when you buy a new computer. It needs to be set up and I'm no good at that! So I just take it over to the Geek Squad and they take it from there. When I pick it up, it's ready to go to work for me. I appreciate this service so much!

When I had problems with my keyboard, they were able to fix it overnight in their store with minimal cost, thankfully.

I made my 20-minute initial appointment and was prepared to have to leave my computer for set-up. It was a pleasant surprise that the agent Anna, was able to have it set-up within the time constraints of the appointment. She was able to get it operating to my satisfaction right away. Now granted, there wasn't a lot that needed to be done on this visit, but she easily could have said for me to return and pick it up in 2 days or something like that, but she didn't. She tackled the issue right then and there. I appreciated her courteousness and respect for my time. Plus, she was pleasant, professional and personable. How can you beat that!

The Geek Squad tech that helped set up my Window laptop was patient, thorough, efficient (in a good way), and knowledgeable. For only $40, the tech did everything I needed to get the laptop up and running. I have not had a single issue with the laptop or the services he provided.

The Geek Squad did a wonderful job setting up my new computer in the store. They set up software on my computer, did a complete data transfer, and even sat with me once my new computer was ready to show me where everything is located and how certain parts of the device operate and function. I couldn't be happier with how the geek squad set up my new computer.

I recently purchased a Lenovo laptop from Best Buy to replace our old HP. I figured I'd use the Geek Squad's PC Setup service to: Strip out all the bloatware that normally comes with boxed purchases; do all the driver and s/w updates; install Chrome; and install my newly purchased version of MS Office. (Ok, so I'm lazy.) I just wanted to bring it home, power it up, and have it run the way I wanted! I had never used the Geek Squad service for PC set up, but figured for $40 it was worth a try. I told them what I wanted and they mostly delivered. There are two reasons I gave 4 stars (instead of 5): First, I had to go back into the store the next day to log on to my Microsoft account so they could take the laptop out of the safe mode and activate MS Office. They called me the evening they started working on it and told me they needed my password, but I told them I wasn't giving it to them over the phone. A mild inconvenience, but nevertheless it was an inconvenience. Second, they installed Chrome as I requested, but did not install the Defender extension. I realized this after I got home and booted up the laptop. Again, not a big deal because it's a one minute fix. But I think they should've just done it (and informed me), since Defender is the only antivirus s/w on the laptop. Over all I think they did a good job and I would recommend this service.

My tech was named Noah. He did a great job and explained everything to me in words that I could understand. I am 75 and not very tech savvy. Thanks for being kind to old people. My computer works great thanks to Noah.

I bought a Mac air lap top at Best Buy and purchased the total tech support also. The Geek Squad staff were very helpful and knowledgeable assisting me with the transition from I pad to Lap Top. They helped me with backup and saving/transferring data, and then gave me a tutorial on operating my Mac Air. I have learned a lot on my own since then but I have another tutorial scheduled to answer the questions that have come up while using the new device. From the sales staff to the Geek Squad my experience has been good.

While talking with the technicans in the store, they were very helpful. Took my computers in on a Saturday for a data transfer from an old computer to a new one. Was told the service would take 1-2 days. The tech didn't know if that meant by Sunday or would it be "working days", so said that I should have it completed by Tuesday. As my computer was in the store, I had no access to my email and I asked to be sent a text to notify me when completed. On Wednesday I tried to call the store with the number given to me on the card by the service tech. Unfortunately, apparently all Best Buy phone numbers always takes you to a long wait run-around call center where they really have no idea what is going on. I was told that my computer service was completed on the previous Sunday but I'd have to schedule and appointment on Thursday to pick it up, which I did. Then I immediately went to the Best Buy store and picked up my computer with no problems. They didn't know why I didn't receive a text that the service was done.
