Shame - Drunk Tank Pink Deluxe Edition (Clear Red) - VINYL LP

'I love the variety that L.A. offers in terms of musical opportunities, from classical to rock and roll, but for all of us, our real passion is jazz' Rick Rossi, sax player - Goin Public Goin Pulic is a young band that delivers a blend of cool, edgy jazz and R&B Funk. The band's self-titled 1995 debut album gained them quite a following with it's blend of jazz and hip hop. On this new CD they are joined by guest artists percussionist Luis Conte (Sting, Miles Davis) and Bass Clarinet Player Bennie Maupin (Herbie Hancock) 'Preferring a combination of danceable back beats and simpler melodies alongside Luis Conte's congas, bongos & percussion arsenal, Goin Public provides a forum for the adventuresome solo work of guitarist [Johhnny Valentino], pianist [Ken Burgomaster]and saxophonist [Rick Rossi] Rick Rossi's timbre is unique; his solo presentation on 'Discrete Desires' wafts beautifully and his doubling with guitar produces a sliding effect much like that of a violinist. 'Step By Step' and 'Three Fenders In The Corner' feature some fluid and exciting tenor saxophone work. 'Free Exchange', the title track, finds the natural blend of Maupin's bass clarinet and the background singers; it's representative of the entire session, in that this is a team effort with blending and doubling giving it that distinctive charm.' Hailing from Italy and driven by the force of the mid-nineties Gothenburg sound, Tystnaden?s debut, Sham Of Perfection is the perfect mixture of complex compositions and driving, atmospheric melody. Laura de Lucas' voice and the varied compositions of similar orientation to Scandinavian bands are sure to enthrall fans of Nightwish and Evanescence just as they will do for fans of progressive or the heavier kinds of heavy metal.Tystnaden is, apparently, influenced by In Flames and Dark Tranquillity. It's probably not so wrong when you listen to some guitars riffs of the album but to be honest, I'm quite sure that the majority of the people who will listen to this album first will only have one name in their head, Lacuna Coil. You'll tell me that it is evidently really simplistic to do a comparison between these two bands just because Tystnaden has a female singer, but believe me their two universes are not so different?InchSham Of PerfectionInch is not a bad album. The ten songs are correct and are an alternation of Melodic Death Metal and Gothic/Atmospheric music a la Lacuna Coil. Though, Laura de Luca has a really nice voice and the death vocals of Lorenzo Frascaroli are also extremely good too. The riffs and melodies are catchy in general but a bit easy. Nevertheless, the guys of Tystnaden tried to add some instruments like mandolin or violin but since that the rhythms are fast in general it's not unpleasant. This is their debut album pressed on 180 gram red slushie vinyl. Album Tracks 1. First Embrace 2. Münchausen Syndrome 3. Tystnaden 4. Metaphora 5. The Foolish Plan 6. Hamlet 7. The Joke 8. Rewards 9. The Vanishing 10. Pride Vs. Intellect

The Game is the 4th album by punk band Sham 69, released in 1980. In 1980 Sham had just disbanded and re-formed within a couple of months, drafting in new drummer Mark Goldstein for this comeback. The Game rang in the '80s as a warning of the coming decade of greed and myopia. The message was, of course, right on the mark. The album sounds like their earlier recordings but has a much slicker production. A much underrated album at the time. The Game is available as a limited numbered edition of 750 individually numbered copies on 180-gram translucent red coloured vinyl. Album Tracks 1. The Game 2. Human Zoo 3. Lord of the Flies 4. Give the Dog a Bone 5. In and Out 6. Tell the Children 7. Spray It on the Wall 8. Dead or Alive 9. Simon 10. Deja Vu 11. Poor Cow 12. Run Wild Run Free 13. Unite and Win
