Q: What kind of cleaning solvent is added to water, if any.
A: We would like to let you know that you can use water only. If you would like to use a cleaner/water solution we would advise to use our Hydrovac Multi Surface Cleaning Solution is specifically designed for this system to optimize cleaning performance. using other cleaners may lead to foaming, streaking and false triggering of the dirty water sensors.
A: We would like to let you know that the Hydrovac can not be used for dry vacuuming. There must be fluid in the Clean Solution Tank for the unit to run. The unit will turn off and indicate when you have run out of cleaning solution.
Q: Can you use it on your living room which is carpet
A: you can use it on your carpet, and I did see a difference. The carpet doesn't get saturated, and it dries fast.
A: I had the same issue, and fixed it by rotating the roller cloth.
Q: Does this work on laminate floors?
A: The Hydrovac can be used on hard floors such as sealed woods, tile, vinyl, as well as low pile area rugs.
Q: Can you use any cleaning solution that has been diluted with water?
A: We would like to let you know that it is not recommended that you use third party cleaning solutions with the Hydrovac. The Hydrovac Multi Surface Cleaning Solution is specifically designed for this system to optimize cleaning performance. A: yes, I see no reason vinegar water will not work
