I have mostly cement floors with a few area rugs. As long as it's regularly maintained, it works great. The self-emptying feature is clutch - as I can run it while I'm away and only have to empty it every 6 or so times after running it in my 1K sq/ft apartment. Very easy to take apart to clean for maintenance.

I love this Vacuum its quiet and does a great job of cleaning. I have two cats and this works really well in the room with thier fur and litter. The app is easy to use and sync to and shows you the map of the area. Highly recommend if your in the market for a robot vacuum.

I purchased this robovac November 15, 2021. I would use it maybe once a week - if that. I had unplugged it recently for about a month as i was traveling. When I attempted to plug it back in and connect it, the clean light would turn red and the exclamation point would turn on. I attempted to reset it and also followed the instructions on the app as well as various Youtube videos. I called the Shark customer service number and am being told that it is no longer under warranty, they do not know why this has happened AND they are attempting to sell me another vacuum.

With 4 cats, we have 2, one upstairs and one downstairs. The robot keeps the dander and hair down to a minimum. We usually vacuum with the main vacuum each week to get a good thorough cleaning. Ours runs every day, just make sure you clean the unit filter daily. We blow out the filter with an air compressor which keeps the filter clean and extends the life of it. We empty the main unit each week. We use the compressor to clean everything monthly just to keep it in clean condition. Did have an issue just at a year with the wheel locking up and customer support sent another unit out after some easy troubleshooting. Shark has great customer support! Make sure you register it so you can take advantage of the Shark's company support warranty. Getting an extended Best Buy warranty for this is a good idea if it's used daily, well worth the money. When the warranty expires, there are plenty of parts online to repair if necessary. It's a simple machine if you know basic disassembly/assembly.

Never thought I would enjoy these robot vacuums as much as I do. Some connectivity issues but nothing too crazy from typical troubleshooting that would fix it. App is nice and easy to use as well. Having 2 corgis I have to empty the bin more so than if you didn't have animals. Overall I like it and have another model same brand highly enjoy and recommend mashed cleaning very easy.
