I have mostly cement floors with a few area rugs. As long as it's regularly maintained, it works great. The self-emptying feature is clutch - as I can run it while I'm away and only have to empty it every 6 or so times after running it in my 1K sq/ft apartment. Very easy to take apart to clean for maintenance.

I love this Vacuum its quiet and does a great job of cleaning. I have two cats and this works really well in the room with thier fur and litter. The app is easy to use and sync to and shows you the map of the area. Highly recommend if your in the market for a robot vacuum.

I purchased this robovac November 15, 2021. I would use it maybe once a week - if that. I had unplugged it recently for about a month as i was traveling. When I attempted to plug it back in and connect it, the clean light would turn red and the exclamation point would turn on. I attempted to reset it and also followed the instructions on the app as well as various Youtube videos. I called the Shark customer service number and am being told that it is no longer under warranty, they do not know why this has happened AND they are attempting to sell me another vacuum.

With 4 cats, we have 2, one upstairs and one downstairs. The robot keeps the dander and hair down to a minimum. We usually vacuum with the main vacuum each week to get a good thorough cleaning. Ours runs every day, just make sure you clean the unit filter daily. We blow out the filter with an air compressor which keeps the filter clean and extends the life of it. We empty the main unit each week. We use the compressor to clean everything monthly just to keep it in clean condition. Did have an issue just at a year with the wheel locking up and customer support sent another unit out after some easy troubleshooting. Shark has great customer support! Make sure you register it so you can take advantage of the Shark's company support warranty. Getting an extended Best Buy warranty for this is a good idea if it's used daily, well worth the money. When the warranty expires, there are plenty of parts online to repair if necessary. It's a simple machine if you know basic disassembly/assembly.

Never thought I would enjoy these robot vacuums as much as I do. Some connectivity issues but nothing too crazy from typical troubleshooting that would fix it. App is nice and easy to use as well. Having 2 corgis I have to empty the bin more so than if you didn't have animals. Overall I like it and have another model same brand highly enjoy and recommend mashed cleaning very easy.

[Employee of bestbuy] The vacuum was very easy to set up and use. The addition of bin station made cleanup very easy. However, after a year and half of having it the. vacuum unexpectedly stopped working due to a sensor error. Luckily, I had a protection plan and the store was able to help me resolve this.

Until you've experienced the convenience of having your floors and carpets swept and vacuumed on a regular basis by a robot vacuum, you'll continue to justify only needing a broom and a mop and doing it the old fashioned way. Bring yourself and your family the gift of one less thing to worry about with chores. I look forward to seeing my robot come into bedroom a leave perfect little rows of vacuum lines in the carpet every day. I have mine set to vacuum everyday at noon. It's name is Jankins instead of the traditional Jenkins. Jankins is awesome and if you haven't figured out yet... I would highly recommend. He's not perfect and does require some looking after occasionally, but its a small price to pay considering he does all of the work.

We run the Shark almost every night, it's pretty easy to forget about emptying the base since it takes several weeks to fill. The vacuum isn't quiet, but we run it while watching TV in the evening and it isn't awful... sometimes I run it when going to bed and I don't hear it from upstairs unless I try. Does this 100% replace a regular vacuum cleaner? No. We have a Shark Lift-Away that we still use... just not as often. For reference, we have three indoor cats and a 100lb dog... and they all shed. The Shark IQ fills the canister in a few weeks, but anytime I run the Shark Lift-Away over the same areas I pick up a good bit of pet hair.

Kids named the vacuum “Ziggy”. Wife loves how it makes a complete map of the house and she can monitor on the app. Ziggy gets in every nook and cranny. We love Ziggy more than our other robot vacuum. Sorry Bob. At this rate, it’s only a matter of time before Skynet takes over.

I love this thing! Works great with hardwood floors and carpet. I have 2 dogs and it picks up most of the hair.

This vacuum is great it goes from hardwood onto rugs and can even move onto kitchen air mats. It does a great job picking up cat/ dog hair and when full it empties itself into a bin in the charger unit This one is way better than a BObsweep robotic vacuum

Was hesitant to buy a robot vac, had it in my head that they were bad from back when they first came out. Decided to try this one because a co-worker said he had one and it was great. I will say this vac is amazing. It took a couple runs and it learned the layout of my house and can clean my main floor in under an hour. I have it set to clean early in the morning so everyday I wake up to a freshly vacuumed floor.

For a first time user of a vacuum like this I have to say I'm pretty happy with it. It seems to do a good job on our hardwood floors, doesn't seem to do a whole lot on carpet but that's not what it's designed for. The only things I really don't like about it are the mapping doesn't seem to be that accurate, it starts you with a first-time map of the house and supposedly updates as it cleans but I haven't really seen it update and I know it's missing things on the map. Also, the power switch on the side of the robot itself is in a terrible spot because if you have the spring type door stops that screw into the wall it'll hit that switch and turn your vacuum off. This has happened multiple times very annoying

Shard vacuum works well! This is a between regular vacuums thing though, so don't get rid of your regular vacuum. It does pick up well though and we love the auto-empty feature. This is our first robot vacuum, so we are still learning. The app is slow, but does allow you to pick individual rooms for cleaning (after it maps the house). The Alexa interface is not so good (for us). For example, if we ask Alexa to "clean the kitchen, it just starts cleaning from the base. You must use the app to do specific rooms. If you always just want to clean everywhere, then Alexa works fine. Also, I like that it is bagless, some other brand models are not. Also, it has good navigation & doesn't always bump into things to know where it is.

Easy setup, quiet, smart...first robotic vacuum, works as would expect

does a great job navigating around our house. We have Golden Retriever, who shed a lot, and this little machine does a good job sucking up the hair. You do need to keep an eye on it in case it suck up a rubber band or a build up of hair. I love the fact that it empties itself and you dont need to empty the bin for a few weeks.

This thing has been great. I had a robot vacuum for several years, but it was very loud and annoying having to empty the vacuum all the time. Having it self empty into the base makes this so much better. It's easier to dump the container from the base and it holds so much more. It's also more quiet than my old one

I was hesitant to buy a robot vacuum until I saw a friends bot. I have a Golden Retriever and dark tile flooring. This robot vac is great help!! Programmable from phone, goes back to its base when it’s full & automatically empties into the base then goes back to the place it left to continue vacuuming. Base holds several weeks of debris before I have to dump it.
