Works very well! I have an open concept home. I keep it near the kitchen area because my dogs like to hover around waiting for any food to fall. Have noticed a definite decrease in any dust. Picked this model because of the cleanable filters. Since one of my dogs likes to shed what seems like a Chihuahua every week (regardless of brushing), I would have gone through filters in other models way too quick, thereby greatly increasing cost. The cleanable filters are every easy to access and are on the outside of the unit. I keep it on an automatic setting. Only time I hear it is when I'm cooking and when it turns the fans on faster! When the fan is on max, it makes about as much noise as a very quiet dishwasher. I have a new electric smooth top range. The air quality sensor picks up every time I open the oven and when I am pan browning/frying anything (even when only on medium). Doesn't turn on when I boil anything. The included photo was when I made chicken piccata. It is sensing things in the air I can't see. Very impressed!

Purchased this after a car crashed into home. We are having a lot of construction with dust this has made the air in our home cleaner. We have allergies and with this I don’t have sneezing attacks in my home any longer. This quiet and I love I can see if my air quality is good or bad and watch it go from not good to clean air

I purchased two of these for a 3,000 sqft home with 5 dogs (3 xxl dogs indoors), 12 lizards, and a bird all inside plus 4 humans ha ha. The amount of dust that would build up on everything in just a few short days was ridiculous. These have helped with dirt/dust dander so much, now I only have to dust every couple of weeks instead of every couple of days. Not only dies it help with dust but the air smells so much cleaner. The only downside is I have home air freshening systems and the purifier sycks the scent up almost instantly lol. I had to purchase something I know is sustainable for my lifestyle and I knew I would not repurchasr filters as often as probably needed so I love that these filters don't need to be replaced for 5 years.

This thing is in my living room and let’s just say that with 2 dogs a cat and 3 boys … and my wife … joking. It does its job and more . The pre filters catch so much hair and large particles it’s not even funny. I love it. Also the photo is of how much dust it catches . I will say when we cook with oil in the house , it takes a few days for the machine to clear all the smell out but it gets it done. People walk into my house and don’t even smell the animals . Which is what we want !

Purchased due to the fact that our neighbors smoke Marijuana in their basement, almost every day. We live in a townhome, my sons room is the entire finished basement, but the smells goes straight into my sons room. My son has allergies and asthma. Ever since we moved here my son has been breaking out in hives and getting nose bleeds. I figured to help my son a bit, that an air purifier would help, due to the smells. Immediately when our house starts to smell, I turn on the air purifier. It instantly picks up the smell and shows bad air quality. Within less than an hour, the smell goes away. Which prior to the air purifier the smells would linger for much longer from our finished basement, then spread throughout the house. My son is able to sleep better at night or is able to spend time in his room without having to be as bothered by the smell that used to linger around in his room. This works better than my Levoit - Airzone 710 Sq air purifier. My levoit air purifier is also bigger, and the filter cost over $60. Will add to the review if there are any issues. The one thing that was hard to understand at first were the buttons to navigate how to use this purifier. I also wanted to mention that BestBuy.com states that this air purifier comes with a remote, but it does not come with a remote unless you purchase one.

Shark Bever Change Air Purifier Max 1400 with oder neutralizer technology. Do not like the smell of the oder neutralizer. This thing has beed left to run in the automatic mode. The partical indicator started and has stayed at 100, except when a scented match was lit about 12 feet away. The display went to 68 and the ring around it turned orange and was flashing for about 4 minutes. During this time the fan was bliwing on its highest setting. After the display read 100 the fan went down to medium soeed for anout 1 minute and then to low speed for 1 minute and then shut down. We purchased this unit to help my wife's allergies, and hopefully cut diwn on the amount of dust and pollen in the house. I totally understand the theory behind the Never change filter. Yet, if it's doing it's job, shouldnt the permanent filter need to be cleaned periodically, and the mainfilter need to be cleand as well? Its been 30 days and none of the filters have anything on them at all. I still have time, and i olan to use it all. 28 more days and if there is still no change, I will be forced to return it. I will post an update in 28 days. If you have the need to feel that the air is better in your home, perhaps this is for you.

The unit is basically plug and play, walk away. I’ve placed it in our living room/kitchen area. Cooking odors clear very well, the quick side filters are easy to clean, and with two dogs and two cats, the air has never been cleaner.

I bought this a few months ago, and wanted to get the full experience before I reviewed it. I'm so glad I bought this! I can definitely tell the difference in the quality of air in my house, there has also been significantly less dust than before. Less stuffy noses, and I can breathe much better. Also my home is 1360 sq feet and this works perfectly.

For several months we have been wanting better air circulation in our living room and this was it. This air purifier not only looks great but, also filters and circulates the air perfectly. It is quiet and runs smoothly. The price point compared to other brands we own was a no brainer. The five year filter was the sell. We absolutely love it and recommend to others.

A highly effective method of filtering the air quality of any room. With manual or automatic setting, it can be adjusted to accommodate any needs. I liked its ease of set-up and use, and once its on, you hardly know its there.

Works very well. The display is great to let you know the levels in the air and the filter last 5 years if you’re having issues with allergies dust in your house just spend the money and get it.

This was the best purchase I’ve made this year. This difference in the air quality is like night and day. Filters can be super expensive so it’s nice you don’t have to worry about that for some time and the fact that you can add a scent is a really nice addition. A must have.

My son and I are battling allergies real bad in norther Alabama. Our allergist recommended getting one and it has decreased our sneezing and congestion. Worth the buy if you have allergies. I use it during cooking and it immediately starts cleaning the air. It helps redue that lingering food smell.

Best air purifier I have ever purchased. We have 5 dogs in our home, two German shepherds who shed every time they move. This has been a game changer in our home. I would have dust on my desk a week after dusting before this and now I can go a month without needing to dust. Love that you don’t have to replace the filters monthly and that I can see the air quality at any time.

I was always skeptical about air purifiers until I got this one. Especially during and after cooking, you see the air quality percentage starts to drop on the screen. And once it starts working, there is no more smell in the house anymore, such a great gem!

It really works, very satisfying. Also, the filter is the part I really liked because I don’t have to change it for awhile.

We got two of these one is a little smaller. This bigger one is in our dining room and kitchen and it works great. It automatically turns on when the air quality is affected. We love it!
