A: We’ve had this same tv for 1.5 years. We’re on our 3rd remote and now the screen is going out. We also have WiFi issues all the time. We unplug the cord from the tv for 30 sec then plug back in. Seems to fix that issue for a little while. Don’t try to use slingTv on it, for some reason this tv doesn’t like sling. My suggestion is get a different tv. Sony or Samsung.
Q: How far apart are the stand legs. i.e. how wide does the tv stand need to be for the 50 in model.
A: About 40 inchs was needed
A: No. And you are not alone. I suspect they have used an inferior wifi chip. I'm going to be replacing this hunk-a-junk as soon as possible.

A: I would pick the fixed (can not do the turning) at $20 below. I bought one from another on-line big store.

Q: Can I watch regular tv with a smart tv if I don’t have WiFi?
A: Yes. You can attached an antenna to get free over the air channels (OTA); or attach a cable box. The WiFi (smart tv portion) is an add on. Not the primary function.
