Q: Does this need to be set up to a speaker?
A: No, amp & speakers on board.
A: It looks like this device from Sharp does not have an output. No output - then you cannot hook it up to your Bose CD Player. My Bose CD player also died. It still plays music, but can't play CDs. I'm looking for a CD player that has an output to hook into my Bose Aux Input. I'm having trouble finding a simple, basic CD player with an Aux output.
