About this product
Swift Arrows is a record full of dark corners and dazzling shafts of light. An exploration in gamboling piano lines slowing into lingering, thrumming ballads, Earl sounds as though she's singing from the very boat she burned before- throwing breakaway melodies into a whipping wind of resonant choral singers. An album about the fraying of love, about it's anger and it's mercy, about despair and boundless hope, knotted together with rich strings and steady, distant drums, It is clear Earl knows that once one has Inchburned the boatsInch there is no going back, only going forward, headlong into one's new life. Swift Arrows is about doing just that, and doing it boldly. This album is pressed on pink vinyl and has a card.

Double vinyl LP pressing. 2016 , a newly remixed version of the classic 1991 album by the grunge/hard rock supergroup. Temple of the Dog is the only studio album by Temple of the Dog. The album is a tribute to Andrew Wood, the former lead singer of Malfunkshun and Mother Love Bone, who died on March 19, 1990 of a heroin overdose. The album has been certified platinum by the RIAA in the United States. Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell, who had been Mother Love Bone vocalist Andrew Wood's roommate, approached former Mother Love Bone members Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament about working on material he had written when he was on tour with Soundgarden in Europe. The line-up eventually included Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron and newcomers Mike McCready (lead guitar) and Eddie Vedder (background vocals). McCready and Vedder were featured on the album due to their involvement with Ament and Gossard's next project, which became Pearl Jam. The name Temple of the Dog is derived from the opening lyrics of the Mother Love Bone song InchMan of Golden WordsInch, InchI want to show you something, like joy inside my heart, seems I been living in the temple of the dogInch.

'So Much Soul' started life back in 2010 as a London club night, promoted by Chris Read and Nick Armitage showcasing a spectrum of Funk-based sounds with a focus on contemporary Funk & Soul. When Chris came to record the Funk track 'Magic is Gone' (featuring Speedometer front man Myles Sanko) in 2014 a band of contributing musicians was assembled for the task and the So Much Soul Players were born. The latest incarnation of the project sees Chris on production duties alongside in-demand London based pianist Rob Barron on keys. The pair first met when working together in the BBC New Music Award winning band Maylight. 'Happy (Hammond)' is the second from London based Funk & Soul outfit the So Much Soul Players (aka Chris Read & Rob Barron), a gritty, instrumental Hammond Funk take on Pharrell Williams' ubiquitous feel-good Pop/Soul cut 'Happy'. Harking back to the raw stylings of 60s/70s Funk, this dancefloor oriented rendition of the popular song features driving drums, funky Hammond licks and crunchy, overdriven organ lines galore.
