I ordered two physical Shell gift cards online to be shipped to my house. When I tried to use them at the gas station, one was declined because Best Buy failed to activate it before shipping. I had to spend an hour on the phone with customer service to fix a mistake that should never happen. It is incredibly inconvenient to be stuck at a pump with a card you’ve already paid for that doesn't work.

I originally purchased two $50 Shell gift cards as part of the daily deal for $90. One card came loaded with the finds, the other didn't. I was super disappointed! Called customer service, they did about five minutes of research, and sure enough there was a processing error. Got the replacement gift card in the mail within 48 hours. While it was initially a bummer, ultimately it was an awesome customer service experience!

Be cautious there is a possibility that the gift card you bought might not be activated especially if you bought it online. I bought 4 cards all for myself, but noticed that the cards are all sealed perfectly while usually the clerk had do open up the bar code to scan when check out in store. So I test use them ASAP in gas station and found exactly as I suspected. Online chat was easy to request a new order of 4 cards but need in-store pickup, which I do prefer coz I can then check whether they are activated or not. However, this may not be easy for everyone. Just be cautious if you buy the cards to send friend as a gift. It may become a big embarrass for you.

Bought the Shell gift card during Deal of Day promotion. The five dollar coupon was a huge incentive. Easy to use gift card at the Gas pump. If similar promotion will buy, again.

Whats there to say, $50 bucks of gas for a 10% discount on deal of the day. Added to my Shell account and recognized without problems. I would buy it again, hopefully at a better discount next time....

Easy to use on app or at gas stations… especially when you need a back-up for of payment or simple add it to your virtual wallet

It's a no brainer! Pay $45 for a $50 card. It works for me since I am a Shell customer. Now if you go by the discount gas stations, then this really wouldn't be worth it to you.

the card arrived promptly as promised. Using it at the Gas station was a NO brainer. Just insert it instead of the credit card, I even used it in conjunction with my fuel rewards code and got 5c off per gallon. Great purchase!!!!

Delivery was messed up. Originally ordered 3 cards, got one delivered, then another about a week later. Third one didn’t come so called customer service and got it set to pick it up at local BB, then got another delivered a few days later.Took it back to the store and they said to just keep it. So nice to get another for free but would have been simpler to just get all 3 at once.

10% off a top tier gasoline brand? Plus cheapest gas station in my area? And has cleaning additives in it? What is not to like. Love discount on quality products :)

A little difficulty spending at merchants. Some retailers won't accept it. But I use the gas card to get through the month and allotment towards gas funding.

How can you go wrong purchasing a gift card for less than face value. It's a win win, combined with other Shell discounts.
