This is a must watch TV Series. The quality of the series truly looks even better with the Blu-Ray upgrade. The Blu-Ray case is sturdy and great to add to the collection. The process took them 10 years to complete and there was worry the show would loose the "grittiness" that gave it such a unique feel. Do not fear, purchase this with confidence because it is amazing to watch Vic and the Strike Team navigate Farmington with all the drama involved. The cast is top notch and the story keeps you on the tip of your seat. My only complaint is 7 seasons is not enough!

this series was pretty much the forfront for breaking bad, in that it was a gritty series that premiered on cable tv (fx), much like breaking bad did on amc, but not as hardcore as sopranos on hbo. vic mackey is a corrupt cop who does what he wants to make sure justice is served. the set comes with 18 discs, and NEW material exclusively for the blu ray set. get the series its an awesome show with a dynamic cast.

This is easily my favorite show of all time. It's amazing how they pushed the envelope with every episode an by today's standards, would never even be let on the air. The upscaling and move to widescreen for this is pretty well done but seems to lack in some areas. All and all I'm thrilled as I hate rewatching this series in SD!

One of the best cop shows of 00’s go back with detective Vic Mackey and his strike team as they show you the tough streets of LA, remastered for BluRay, this is a great collection for anyone who was a fan of a show that would set up for Sons, Rescue Me, and other shows to come.

An excellent look and feel of crime and drama. Excellently portrayed by dirty cops and their conflicted moral obligations.

Hands down one of the greatest shows ever made! You really have to see it for yourself. Believe the hype, the praise this show gets is well deserved. The writing, acting, and story are all top notch, and this box set is well worth the money.

Absolutely love The Shield and this set is a must have for any fans of the show. Great artwork and really like how the discs some in the sleeves with photos from each season.
