If you’re a shin megami tensei/persona 5 fan definitely grab SMT V vengeance. Played the original and had loads of fun. The game has amazing interactions between the different demon summons. If you love mythology I recommend picking the game up it has tons of lore from eastern and western cultures.

A mainline Shin Megami Tensei game, with alot of series staples and reoccurring characters. Battles feel classic, but with some quality of life improvements. This version has 2 campaigns you can choose from; either the vanilla or the Vengeance storyline. Great game

Atlus delivers again with an amazing game. While it is a re-release, the vast, endless amount of additional content in this game is well worth it for those who enjoy SMT. The physical steelbook version is beautiful.

This is what persona 3 reload is to persona 3 but for smt v. I first played on the switch a couple years ago and the ps5 version is far and away the best version of this game

Shin Megami Tensei is one of my favorite jrpgs because of its difficulty and made the spin off persona which is my favorite series.

If you are really into turn based games, JRPGs, Persona or other SMT games then definitely play this game. There are two different stories to try and I can guarantee you will like something from this game!

This game is awesome, it updates the original, that came out earlier for the Switch, with a brand new story, characters ,and a few quality of life, such as better frame rate and graphics, a must have.

The game came in perfectly from BestBuy, but most importantly this is the game Atlus should have released first and I'm really only docking it a star because of (1) this should've released first and (2) it lacks the sort of distinct character that'd make the story an absolute classic. However, the gameplay is the absolute best it's ever been. I do wish some abilities were made less useful, but this is a ton of fun and highly accessible.

So far I have been enjoying the game a lot. I thought this will serve as a bridge to get into the persona games. The graphs are cool and music is a banger!

I played the original SMT V and enjoyed it. Now playing SMT V Vengeance the experience is even better. A must pick up for fans of the series.

Gameplay loop is very engaging and satisfying, plus the new additions are easy to access and not required if you just want to play the original version of the game. If Atlus insists on doing re-releases in the future, they should all be like this

Arrived on release day as promised, was packaged well and not damaged at all. Steelbook was flawless and is an amazing game finally being brought to something besides Switch. It’s made by the people who make Persona, and it’s has similar concepts but is more focused on the story and battles than side mechanics like relationships and whatnot in Persona. So if you like Persona, chances are you’ll love this gem of a game.

I relatively enjoyed the original smt v but this new vengeance release really made it one of my favorite rps. The game has a lot of boss battles that really make you mix up and think about your team building. There's plenty to do with the two story routes and endgame bosses to beat

Awesome JRPG, highly recommend. Very difficult but figuring out the challenge is rewarding.

Game plays Great! Love the shin megami tensei series since nocturne. Plays fantastic on PS5 with smooth 60fps and new game mode. However you have to buy the DLC all over again. But the minimal dlc are optional. The more expensive ones are just side quest to get those characters, questioning if you need them.
