I recently bought the Shokz OpenRun headphones, and they’ve been a great investment. They’re lightweight, comfortable, and perfect for staying aware of my surroundings while listening to music or taking calls. Right out of the box, they felt well-built and super light. The flexible titanium frame provides a snug fit without discomfort, and pairing them with my phone was seamless. The sound quality is clear, with solid performance for an open-ear design, though bass is lighter than traditional headphones. Call clarity is excellent, and I appreciate being able to hear my surroundings. They stay secure during movement, and the 8-hour battery life with quick charging is a plus. Overall, they’re comfortable, durable, and ideal for active use. I’d definitely recommend them!

My review is based on MY needs for headphones. My airpods died and needed to replace them, and wasn't entirely happy with them. (battery life was terrible, etc). I was very skeptical about buying the Aeropex after reading some reviews, but realized the bad reviews looked to be people who bought these prior to doing any sort of research. If you want extreme bass, these are not for you. If you want noise cancellation or to NOT hear your surroundings, these are not for you. I use these for running/exercising. I expected the sound to be soft, and maybe even a little uncomfortable to wear, but couldn't have been more happy with them. They are very lightweight and don't even notice there are on, they are plenty loud for my needs - i want to hear my surroundings and my music, and these are perfect for that. Others wondered how they would fit with sunglasses or a hat, I live in FL and always run with sunglasses and a hat and doesn't get in the way at all. Whether I'm running by cars, in the woods, or on the beach, its great to be able to hear everything around me. If you want to block out the noise, they do come with ear plugs (which will also make the music louder if used). I have not used them for phone calls, and couldn't care less how the mic worked because that's not why I bought these. 8 hour battery life is also a huge plus because on my long runs, my airpods would eventually die before my run ended (and the battery slowly diminished after a year like typical apple products, and wouldn't replace or fix the issue) - The aeropex also come with a 2 year warranty

As an HVAC tech, I need to hear what’s going on around me—whether it’s a compressor cycling, a blower motor struggling, or just a coworker trying to get my attention. That’s where the Shokz OpenRun comes in, and honestly, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to regular headphones. Great for the Job Site These headphones use bone conduction, so they don’t go in your ears. That means I can listen to music, podcasts, or take calls while still hearing the system I’m working on. No more missing weird noises that could be a sign of trouble. Plus, they’re lightweight and super comfortable, so I forget I’m even wearing them. They also stay put—even when I’m climbing ladders, crawling through attics, or sweating on a rooftop. Speaking of sweat, they’re IP67 waterproof, so no worries about rain or getting a little grimy on the job. Calls come through clearly, and the mic does a good job of cutting out background noise when I need to talk. Awesome for Hiking & Walking Outside of work, I love using these for hiking and walking. Since they don’t block my ears, I can still hear traffic, people, or wildlife around me. No more surprises from a fast-moving biker on the trail! The 8-hour battery life is solid, and a quick charge gives me enough juice if I forget to top them off. Final Thoughts If you work in a field that requiresyou be aware of your suroundings, these are a game-changer. You can stay aware while still getting great audio. I love that I can run without them falling off or flopping around. The sound is great. I've had them for just over 2 years and they get used vwry frequently. My button cover just recently fell off one day when I was working out and didn't realize it. But it still works great.

I bought the Shokz OpenRun headphones for my boyfriend because he rides his bike a lot, and he absolutely loves them. The open-ear design is perfect for cycling since he can listen to music while still being aware of his surroundings. The sound quality is surprisingly good for bone conduction, and they’re very comfortable to wear for long rides. Definitely a great purchase!

The good: Great sound, even in noisy areas. Plugging your ears actually just makes the sound louder and clearer. Generally comfortable. With nothing to stuff in my ears, there's nothing to irritate my ears. I often forget they are there. The not so good: The only thing that keeps them from being perfect is the band does not adjust. On my head, there is about an inch gap between the back of my head and the band. This becomes an issue when wearing a hat or hoodie or anytime your head has to rest against a surface such as a high backed chair. Also, the charge port is a specialized magnetic cable. I think mine came with 2, home & away. Don't lose them.

Fabulous sound and so comfortable! I have super tiny ear holes and no ear buds ever fit me. This solved the problem and also gives me better awareness of what is around me. They stay on my head, they are not tight, they don’t fall off… Amazing!I love my Shokz and have given a few as gifts!

I have been using this Shokz headphones since 2022 and I just love it. And you know what is more surprising, quality of sound and battery life. Still the same !! I recently purchased another one for my wife after some much of persuasion and she loved it !! Easy to pair and use !! Great product !!

My husband had this headset and I absolutely love them. They are great quality and easy to use. The headphone keep their charge for a very long time and has great quality. When on a call people on the other end say they can here me very well without background noise. Lastly the new charger is great magnetic charger. Love it. I also like that I can wear on my neck versus just a hanging chad from the ear. The one enhance I would love to see is an adjustable headband.

I got the titinum, to use at work, I had read they were good for people with lack of hearing and or tennitus,I have both in my left ear.( I work with the elderly and disabled) not knowing much about them,I was disapointed after an hour they hurt my ears thinking it was just a new thing i kepted them on for about 4 hr. Still hurt,the sound was good,the pain was bad. I started watching review on the other styles,and decided to TRY apex style. OMG! as soon as I left the store I knew they would work well, Im big into audiobook and podcasts. I get great clarity,with music and my audiobooks. even at a lower volume the clarity is good,with my hearing issue I hear in the center of my head with aftershokz apex, not on my right side where all other headphone and ear buds do. The phone call quality is very good, I can understand better,and was told they could heat me very clearly. I even put them over my wrap around ear muff then put these on top the sould was great!and i like that they are small almost unnoticable when wearing. I wish aftershocks would make some that go over your head like a headband so i could use them while laying down. And have an adjustable band around the back of your head. Make some that would clip on to a hat band or your glasse stems. Would be good.

This is the 3rd pair I have purchased from this brand. 2 for my pops and 1 pair for me. The rumors are true the bass is lacking. The reason my pops had to purchase a 2nd pair was because he would sweat but not be mindful to have the device dry while charging and he would be drenched in sweat and it would go into the multi fuction button pictured in the default product picture. Another thing to be wary of is that this uses SBC (not ACC or APTX or LDAC) so if you want sound quality these are not the headphones for you. However there are a lot of upsides especially if you have frequent ear infections like myself or need to have situational awareness while being on a call or passively listening to some light music. Another useful feature is where you can pair this up to two devices. The battery life is also very good I can listen to these headphones for 8 hours from my phone just constantly playing music.

I absolutely love these headphones. I can be hands free and I am able to get some many things done as I don't have to stop and hold my phone. I am getting a set for my daughter to use so she can be hands free and not touch her phone. I would Definitely recommend for anyone. It's so great to hear the conversations on my phone and be able to her what is going on around me as well. Most people don't even know I have them on.and I don't worry about them falling off. Great for workouts or anything you need to do in life.

Love love these earphones! They are my PIC during every run! The battery life and comfort is amazing! I have purchased these as gifts for several people and they have nothing but great things to say about them as well! If you don’t have a pair, what are you waiting for?

I love them they don’t slip when you sweaty, running, longboarding, you don’t have to take them off when getting talked to , over all the best quality ear bones headphones I’ve owned

I absolutely love these wireless open bone conduction headphones! They connect quickly and easily every time with no issues. The sound quality is great, and one of the best things is that I can still hear everything going on around me while wearing them. I’m able to listen to music or take calls and still have a normal conversation, which makes them perfect for everyday use. I liked them so much that I purchased more for other family members, and they love them too. I would definitely buy these again!

Great headphones, don’t have to worry about sweating them out where they fall out your ear while your working out or running also great battery life!

It works well only cons is the base is non existence and the range isnt too far. Otherwise definitely helps avoid my chronic headaches. It also hides with my hair so no one sees it unless i point it out lol

Sound quality for music is not top of the line but very good overall especially considering that this is waterproof, I use it at the gym, in the pool, steam room and hot tub. Battery last for days even when I forget to turn it off.
