Sibylle Langmaack - Musik for Viola Solo - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

The present album Familia is based on the scenic music production InchFamiliaInch from 2018. The show is a creation by Stråf Vocal Strings and choreographer Maud Karlsson. It explores the concept of InchfamilyInch in it's broadest sense and emerged from creative workshops with groups of children of different ages in Gothenburg. InchFamiliaInch tells the story about our need for context and togetherness. It deals with feelings of yearning, loneliness and many different aspects concerning the family. Scope, size and pets are dealt with and even the raindrops, the ocean and the stars are included.

?Quatuor Avium presents here a representative selection of compositions in an alternative instrumentation.
