This thing completely changed how I use the Nvidia Shield. Now I can turn the TV on and off, change inputs, change TV channels, and change TV volume without a separate remote. Unfortunately, there are not enough buttons so you have to press the input button repeatedly to get to the input selection you need. Bonus: The charging port on the Nvidia remote is still accessible for charging. Also the AAA batteries last for a really long time

I bought this to us IR to control the volume of my soundbar (CEC is unreliable). Setting up and programming is a snap, literally. Obviously it adds some bulk to the sleek shield remote, but maybe it will stop it from getting list as easily. Build quality seems good, but could be better, it seems a bit cheap. Overall, if you can get it on sale, go for it.

I was given a TV that I hooked up my Shield to and wanted to use this attachment to control said TV. Unfortunately, this device isn't programmable via remote codes. It can only be programmed by directly copying infrared signals from the remotes it is going to replace, meaning you need to have the working remote in the first place just to use this. Not cool. Returned it as I had no means of using it.

makes things easier tv and fire on one device only issue ie the A button seems to have no functional setup

The setup was a bit confusing but once we you tubed it, we figured it out. It wakes the remote bulky. The benefit to this: we no longer need the tv remote.

Works Great but, have problem pairing with my Samsung TV Remote

Such a great solution that allows me to get rid of a remote. Previously, I need to have my OEM TV remote to power the TV, control the volume and input selection. This allows to get rid of that extra remote in a decent package

When Best Buy ran a sale price of $19.95, I jumped on it. Very easy setup. Within minutes I was able to program buttons for TV and Sterio on/off, volume and source (HDMI switching). This totally made life easier by using 1 remote.

Love the side click this inexpensive thing is great for 2 reasons it works all functions of tv and makes your shield remote a little bigger and less easy to lose in a chair cushion

Ended up returning this as it's not compatible with the 2019 pro remote.

This remote is perfect if you want something basic to declutter. Instead of using 3 remotes for my NVidia Shield, TV, and soundbar, I now use only this. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but it gets the job done for my basic needs and the Shield remote fits like a glove with the sideclick. It also fits perfectly in my hand and I don’t lose the Shield remote as often.

Works great. Also useful as a simple stand alone remote.

This is a great addition to the Nvidia Shield remote. Allows programming of TV function which avoids “control juggling” Solidly built and not too big or small. A little bit of an odd shape, but fits well in the hand.

I thought this would be kinda cool to have but honestly didn’t need it I have a Caavo and it kinda negates having this remote if you need a universal then this might be nice to have

Used this for my Nvidia shield remote. Now I can control power/settings for my TV and soundbar all on one remote. Does exactly what I need it to do.

We always loosing the remote control so with the sidekick we find 2 quicker than anything

Do not buy. This product wit working 1 week after return period. Have tried 2 sets of new batteries and nothing. Glad I am only out $10 for when it was deal if the day.
