A: Yes, this is misleading and BB should correct it. Two different lenses. I wonder if someone who orders can demand the Sports at this price. IMHO this must be the contemporary and it's not worth me playing games to try to get a more expensive lens at this price.

A: This is an EF mount so it's designed for full frame. Ibuse one on a 5DIV and it is fantastic. It will also work with crop sensor cameras.

This lems is awesome!
I’ve picked up bird watching as a hobby and wanted to take some picures woth my Canon 6Dm2 and 300mm lens. Soon realized 300mm would not be enough to get good details and the search for a 600mm lens began. I came across this sigma one and acter watching so many youtube videos conparing the Contemporary and Sport variants i ordered both (C new from BestBjuy and S used from mpb). Holdong both, its obviois the S is not intended for handheld photography. Image quality between the two lenses is so close you can’t tell the difference. Now the C is on sale too, and BestBuy price matched. Overall this lens is worth it especially if you want to photograph wildlife and birds, as well as sporting events. .

Great Lens. Action photos
So I bought this back in June. I take a lot of photos of my kids during their track meets and I wanted to get something that would allow me to get further range before the Junior olympics at Texas A&M. I would say that I was really pleased. I would definitely recommend getting a tripod or monopod to support with stabilization. I am still learning how use the lens but so far so good. Very pleased. I even got a picture of a dragonfly in motion. I used this with a Canon Rebel T7i.

you can not get a better lens for this price! 150-600 all the range photos are very good the bird is an example. the original photo is sharper than the uploaded.
