This lens is Razor sharp from f/4 on. Works great on my D600. I got this to test against my Nikon 24-0120 f/4. While that is a great lens, this beats it hands down at f/4. Less noticeable difference when stopped down but the Sigma is still somewhat better at all focal lengths. I decided to keep this over the 24-120 because of the f/4 performance in particular is quite a bit better. Image quality is more important than the 15mm difference to me. I don't miss it. The OS is amazing. I took a test shot at 1/8s hand held without breathing and still got good results. I wouldn't try it when it really counts though, just to be on the safe side.
