Following the of Antibloom, Silverstein returns with Pink Moon the second chapter in their ambitious 16-song double album, conceived and recorded during a transformative stretch in the high desert of Joshua Tree. Born from the same sessions as Antibloom, the songs on Pink Moon were sequenced with intention, offering a distinct yet complementary listening experience. Known for their meticulous attention to flow and emotional pacing, the band crafted both halves to stand on their own while also telling a broader, interconnected story, one that ebbs and crashes like the desert winds that shaped it.Pink Moon features the only guest appearances on the project, with stunning contributions from Cassadee Pope and Rory Rodriguez of Dayseeker - voices chosen mid-process when the band sensed the need to push certain songs into new sonic territory. The post-hardcore giants will not only be celebrating 25 years as a band, but also the of their ambitious two-part 11th studio album project - the first part titled Antibloom will be released on February 21, 2025. In May of 2024, the band headed to Joshua Tree, CA to fully indulge themselves in the solitude of the desert and begin studio work on their new album. They found themselves so deeply inspired by the atmosphere that they ended up with more songs than could fit on one piece of music - thus birthing the double album concept. InchAntibloom is a reference to the desert, the empty vastness, the harshness, something we experienced while making the record. This is not a concept record, the concept was making a record in this space, and while the lyrics/songs are not directly connected in any shape or form, the concept of death or mortality does appear a lotInch.
