Chose this one over the 7 plus as it still has a earphone jack for my wife. I have bought a total of 4 of these phones and I could not be happier. Battery life is great and so is the camera.

I wanted an old model iPhone as a camera and email reader for a trip to a remote area and this is ideal. It was inexpensive at $ 199 so if something happens while away, it is all right, but will take the pictures that I want and connect to WiFi in a remote area where roaming isn't available.

Get homework still in 2021. Don't push it to the limit though, it doesn't feel so fast anymore. Very good screen and very long battery life. What you can expect on an iPhone camera from 5 years ago.

So currently we're now on the iPhone 12. Literally twice as far as long since this model first came out. So yeah, from a strictly technical viewpoint any iPhone 6 is outdated. But definitely don't get hung up on that. It remains an amazing phone. I believe the iPhone 6 was the first from Apple to offer a "plus" version with a larger screen. IDK, by this point I personally would expect any smartphone worth owning to have a minimum 5 inch screen. So to me the regular version at only 4.7 inches (same for 7, 8 & SE) just come up a little short solely for that reason. I mean, screen size is certainly not everything, but there should at least be a minimum universal standard since smartphones have evolved so much in all other aspects since they first hit a good 15 (maybe more, not 100% sure on those figures) years ago. So definitely noteworthy to me and a big pro to any plus model. Moving on is the memory. I believe some 6's and/or 6 S's only have 16 GB memory, so since iPhone's have never supported micro SD card expansion a boost in memory is another major pro. For some 32 GB still isn't enough I'm sure, but for most, I'd say more than half, people 32 GB really should be plenty. The iPhone's cameras have always been one of the biggest sellers and strong points for iPhone's and while newer models are better still a 5 MP front camera and 12 MP main camera are actually pretty good and even better than a number of android's still on the market. I personally love the round physical button, it's of course on the 7, 8 & SE models too, just a feature I personally like enough to point out, especially as pretty much all android's have ditched any physical button (on the front of the phone, not counting the little volume & power buttons). Classic charger, well, classic among iPhone's, and even better a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. I haven't fully researched this, but I've heard a few times that the 6 & 6 S are the last models to still have a 3.5 mm headphone jack and that all newer one's use a custom port exclusive to iPhone's. Speed may not be up to par when compared with newer models, but it's certainly plenty adequate. The biggest selling point though is a combination of the overall package along with the price. A $150 used to be a Black Friday special for this phone, now as it's undoubtedly nearing the end of it's production run it's become it's regular price, making this a totally worthwhile phone. Thankfully there's at least one iPhone around at the moment that Apple isn't milking for every penny it's worth.

I bought this as a second device to watch movies using the WiFi mostly. It has a nice screen and it doesn’t feel dated at all even though it’s a older device.

I have been using Simple Mobile for my network. It doesn’t matter for me if the phone is locked with Simple Mobile. It really is a great deal for a new iPhone. The picture quality with iPhone 6s might not be as good as that of iPhone 10 or 11, but it still is a decent quality for web use.

My son loves it. He is so happy to have his first iPhone. Crystal clear calls, amazing photos, plenty of storage. Bonus: This phone fits in my old Otterbox IPhone 8S PLUS case.
