I am very happy with my Simple Human trash can. It fit perfect in my kitchen. I bought it before Christmas. It was a hit with the children at Christmas.I had to use the side rods to leave it up because the kids kept finding a reason to see it open and close it. The silver and black complements my silver and black convection microwave and wall oven. It was a little pricey, but I think it is pretty for a trash can.

The garbage has a separate interior bin that fits bags perfectly, the outer shell is heavy and sturdy. Including the foot mechanism and the all metal mechanisms that open the top doors. The way it opens makes it so my large dogs don't have a lip to open the lid with their nose and can't grab onto and throw it down the stairs

High quality and heavy duty. There was a little nick on the top flap that has since rusted, but I would still buy this can.

We were looking for a upgrade for our kitchen trash can and this is it !!! The width of this is only 10.5 and depth is 23 which is average depth of most kitchen counters. The inner can has vents so the liners don't try to billow out when being used like our old can. the Simple Human can seems well built and has an outstanding warranty. I was leery of spending so much but this thing is really nice and I am glad I purchased it.
