Very sturdy unit.

In this day and time I gave it 4 stars. It's a combination of real wood and mostly plywood. At least it's not particle board crap. The hardware for assembly is interesting, just be gentle when tightening the camlocks or they will break. They did supply a bag of spare parts though. Also be very careful tightening the provided screws as they will strip easily, one factory installed hinge had all three screws stripped to the point of falling out. luckily I had some longer ones. All in all it's a heavy serviceable unit that looks very nice.
