I used this in conjunction with the SimpliSafe home alarm/monitoring system to monitor the temperature of a vacation home remotely. The sensor worked great to provide me with the indoor temperature of the home (internal room). The SimpliSafe system does require the upgraded monitoring ($25/month) in order to see the remote temperature and to indicate the desire temperature setting.

The sensor works as advertised. It accurately measures temperature. The unknown factor when I bought them however was you needed to have a Simply Safe home base for them to work. Not a big deal as I wanted a camera too, but would have been nice to know before buying.

Great price, easy to install and works great. No issues at all. Would definitely recommend!!! My furnace stopped working and I received an alert while I was away. Prevented frozen pipes!

Love simpli safe system, I have one of these in my basement for if my pipes get to cold and one to check dog house temp, you can set it to alert and certain temps

Still not 100% sure about this yet. It's easy to install and connect to your SimpliSafe Gen 3 system. I was hoping this could be used outside, but it's made for indoor use mainly. I have not had the chance to test it, but I'm sure like most of my other SimpliSafe products, it will perform as expected. It does give you current temperatures in the app, so if nothing else for now, I know my pipes are not getting close to freezing temps.

Sensor works great for what it is designed for, which is to alert you before your pipes freeze. I want to use this in my refrigerator and freezer. It only goes down to 0 F so it doesn’t work in a deep freeze. It reacts very quickly so you can’t have the fridge door open long.

Great addition to my SimpliSafe system. A big peace of mind. Shows basement temperature on app. Good price.

This is a nice addition to my SimpliSafe security system, allows me to keep an eye on my home temperature while I'm out of town, and notifies me if it get too cold. No frozen pipes here!

Love my SimpliSafe system and all of its components. True to its name in that it works seamlessly and simply.

It works but you may not need it if you have a smart thermostat. The thermostat can tell you how hot or cold the home is. Could be useful or a waste of money depending on your home set up.

Nice addition to the simplisafe eco system. I use this inside the kennel to make sure dogs are comfortable and heating system is working.
