Sir Chloe - I Am The Dog - COMPACT DISCS [CD]

2022 . Suckerpunch is the follow-up to the singer's 2021 album Blood Bunny. Includes the single InchFruityInch.

Rose Droll's debut album, Your Dog, is a record that defies all labels and mystifies people trying to compare it to anything else. It's a captivating listen from the San Francisco-based artist, one that rewards multiple listens and a close reading of the lyric sheet. The self-recorded/produced album was made in a duplex in LA's Highland Park and in a quiet cabin in Big Bear, mastered by Warren Hildebrand (Foxes In Fiction, Ricky Eat Acid (Sandy) Alex G). Rose played every instrument on the record, including guitar, piano, drums, bass, cello, and glockenspiel. The songs tell a meticulous and complex story, detailing the joy and despair following the inception and drawn-out end of various romantic connections and her division from Christianity. Though written over a lengthy period of time about many different subjects, the songs all have one major thing in common the commitment to honesty, often telling these stories exactly as they happened.

Chloe Moriondo began work on her new album with open water on her mind. Time off from writing and touring after some challenging personal circumstances gave the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter space to reflect, and she poured all her oceanic energy into oyster, releasing via Public Consumption / Fueled By Ramen. Led by the contemplative single InchshorelineInch (Incha bold and affecting turnInch - Consequence) and the delightfully creepy Inchhate it,Inch the record was assembled with a close-knit team of cowriters and producers including Jonah Summerfield (Holly Humberstone, Tommy Lefroy), Chloe Kraemer (The Japanese House), AfterHrs, and more. Oyster finds moriondo - who has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! #and received praise from The New York Times - pulling from all her musical palettes, from earnest balladry to explosive hyperpop, from cathartic pop-punk to sparkling indie-pop, to craft a sound all her own. She delves into the depths of heartbreak and catalogs the process of surfacing braver, wiser, and ready to dive back in. Album Tracks 1. Catch 2. Raw 3. Hate It 4. Abyss 5. Oyster 6. Shoreline 7.
