SiriusXM - FM Direct Adapter for Satellite Radios - Black

Without this adapter cable, XM frequently dropped out, had lots of static, and required me to change frequencies frequently. Since I installed this adapter, XM sounds like a brand new service. This should be included with EVERY XM tuner indended for vehicle usage.

I wanted to add SiriusXM to my Indian Chieftain motorcycle, but didn't want to incur the expense of using my phone's data plan and burning through data on multiple week rides. This product allowed me to add SiriusXm and wire it directly into the motorcycle's radio system and broadcast it through the mc's speaker system. After 2 years it been problem free and one of my most rewarding mc additions. One of the key assets is that once its installed you can easily switch out SiriusXM radios.

I have an Acura TL and recently bought a SiriusXM Onyx unit. The built in FM modulator works very poor in the TL with having to constantly change stations. I sprung for the direct adapter to fix the problem. Installation was a breeze, if you know basic radio installation you can install it yourself in under 15 minutes. The adapter does exactly what its supposed to do and eliminates the need to find stations all the time. Sound quality is great with no loss of signal or fidelity. Since the adapter has a port for the regular antenna, one can easily switch between terrestrial radio and satellite without issues. Overall great product at a decent price!

Product works great to connect satellite radio to FM radio, so you don't have to use an FM modulator to find the right station. The FM Direct Adapter works flawless, without any static when driving. As noted in the description, when the adapter is turned off, and you turn to FM/AM stations, they work as normal. Great advice on the part of the Auto Bay Tech to get this part instead of an FM Modulator.
