This is my first Satellite radio and I pretty much love it. There's a vast variety of musical genres to choose from as well as talk for sports and entertainment. On the unit there are 20 slots to save favorites which is pretty nice. This is a great alternative to broadcast radio. Pros: It was easy to install even though I don't have an aux plug. I used an adaptor. The display is color, the menu is easy to navigate, and the sound quality is crystal clear. Cons: It's a bit awkward when clipped into the A/C vents and blocks the air a little.

Wife's 2016 Mazda CX5 didn't come with Sirius radio unless you upgrade to high end model. Mazda didn't make radio kit for this year so we opted for external Sirius radio kit. Researched the Onyx Plus for its output option that works great with sound system when hooked up to aux input. Very nice large screen size to see full text, knobs and controls are easy to use, great reception. Had it professionally installed for ignition power on. No extra part needed. Overall excellent radio for the price. Sirius radio gave me an excellent family plan since I subscribed a Sirius radio on a 2nd vehicle.

What I like about this unit, I really like. What I don't like about it, is a minor disappointment. The display is really what I like. The album art, really sets this apart from other units. The disappointing part, is you have to subscribe to the all access package. At first I wasn't pleased, however, now baseball, football, hockey and basketball is available. It doesn't come with a remote, that can be purchased on line...

I love the color views of the album & CD covers shown on the screen. Easy to operate and fit my old XM "boombox" with no problem. The only issue I had-and not sure if its related-when I used the radio with my boombox at a park (and the atenna was used as well), the radio and boombox kept shutting off. Otherwise, I'd always wanted the color screen after my EZ and now I have it.

I traded in my Jetta, which had my previous Sirius XM radio in it. I wanted something I could add to my new car myself. Something easy to install. I was surprised just how easy this was to put into my new car. Was able to hide all the wires for it and the signal is really great. This also comes with a built in FM modulator, so no need for any additional connectors or adapters. Just tune it into a radio station with no signal, and it's ready.

The pause and rewind features are great! 20 preset channels are more than the in dash unit had to offer and it's much easier to switch between the preset banks. The best feature this unit has that is not mentioned in the literature is that when you change channels on the music stations it will start whatever song was playing from the beginning! No more coming into a song halfway through it or only catching the tail end of it! The sports ticker is nice too The only complaint is that the included cable to plug into the auxiliary port on the car stereo is of very low quality and the audio will crackle but this is easily fixed by using an aftermarket which is widely available for low price

It was installed in my entertainment room. The kit came with three bulbs and a bridge (controller). I bought a fourth bulb to complete the room lighting. A serial number from the bulb was needed to group it with the others. Adding a new colour scheme was simple - 3 minutes. I started with lavender for all bulbs (see picture). I used the Hue Lights App to do this test.

The radio is fine and Best Buy was fine. I’m shorting a star because of the blatant lie on the box. You will NOT get 3 months free with this I argued till I was blue with XM support best they could do was shave a few bucks off a month. I guess because I’m an existing customer - they only care about new customers. Anyway, it works well - I actually love the cache feature ( your saved fav stations will cache the music so that when you select one it’s always the start of a new song ). I installed it in my camper and I put the antenna on the roof and it works fantastic even when I’m under trees which surprises me. Overall 4 stars but nothing against Best Buy.

We did not want to spend a fortune on a XM radio for our vehicle that was not equipped for Satellite Radio. This model worked perfect for us and the price was excellent. Reception and service is very good.

great affordable way to add sat radio to an older vehicle. I did need the optional fm kit but it was cheap. free installation was amazing.

Outstanding product, great for on the go with the ease of mobility from auto to home. Easy to use or install. Highly recommend this product.

I needed something to play in my car while I took my trips. There aren't may radio stations where I travel and a lot of dead spots. Satellite radio was the way to go.

I have been using this radio for several months now, and am extremely happy with it. I had previously had an older model Sirius receiver in place, so installation was a breeze; all I did was change out the docking bay, and plug my old wires back in and I was good to go. The reception and sound quality are excellent, and I have had no issues. I love the screen, and setting my presets was easy. My *only* complaint would be the lack of a clock, but that is mostly because of the clock placement in my car, as I had used my previous receiver's clock as my dash clock rather than the one IN my dash, which makes me take my eyes completely off of the road to look at.

This is a great radio. I'm glad a chose the Onyx Plus with the color screen. It's worth the extra few bucks. Unfortunately, I had to use the fm modulator as opposed to an auxiliary port. However, the modulator is very powerful and even in a major city with many fm frequencies being used, the sound is perfect. I expected iffy sound quality and was thrilled the first time I listened after installation. The auto-bay installation staff at the store were fantastic, knowledge, and pleasant. A couple extra parts were needed. I was advised of this well in advance of the scheduled install date, so I was able to order them. Staff even called a couple of days before the install date to ensure I had everything. I would definitely call before scheduling an install and tell them the model of your vehicle to ensure you don't need any parts to complete the process. There were no surprises during the installation because of their attention to detail beforehand. The XM was mounted cleanly. No wires hanging out. It was hard-wired into my car. The unit looks sharp, and cleanly installed. Well done, Best Buy.

I really like this radio. I haven't had SiriusXM for several years, I'm glad I had picked this one. Easy to use nice display, it has rewind and fast forward so you can hear songs from the beginning. The sports scores ticker is awesome. My only two complaints are, you can't set an artist alert on the comedy stations and it doesn't come with a remote control.

I've enjoyed satellite radio in my old car before, and this system works as intended to deliver great sound and content from siriusxm. The color display is nice and i like that the unit is portable. Great buy, would also recommend bestbuy geek squad installation.

Excellent reception and easy to use and install perfect size to fit in our slingshot and love the two options for install very pleased with this purchase and the price was a great deal I would love to get this item again at the same price for my other vehicle all though it’s easy enough to just transfer it to my other vehicle and take it inside when we are not in the vehicle so it won’t get stolen
