The terrible rating is for the horrible third party vendor SpreeTail, who in my opinion, conducted a classic Bait and Switch scheme. The case itself is great and I would give it 5 stars if possible. I ordered the SKB Deluxe ATA Standard Hard Shell and incorrectly received the smaller Standard case. The Deluxe is pictured on the Best Buy website along with the description and specs for the Deluxe. I got with Best Buy who was pretty good to deal with, but they said it came from a third party vendor SpreeTail, so I would need to get a return label from them. SpreeTail defiantly said they sent the correct case. The only way to contact them is through a chat, which takes 24 hours for a response. They refused to give me a customer service phone number. This chat went on for exactly 26 chats over the course of several weeks. They finally offered a $70 credit if I would keep the incorrect case, which I ended up agreeing to. They only credited $39.97 as reflected on my Best Buy acct and credit card stmt. I contacted SpreeTail again and they continued to falsely claim they credited the full $70. I said if they weren't going to honor the agreement, then I would just send it back. They said they attached a return label in the chat, which never happened. This went on for many more days and on 5 different chats they said a return label was attached, which it never was! Finally after getting Best buy more involved SpreeTail ended up crediting the remaining $30.03. SpreeTail is by far the WORST company I've ever dealt with!!! Best Buy should cut all ties with SpreeTail!! It seemed I was getting scammed the entire time and the customer service was horrible! I always read product reviews, but this is my first one to write, Beware of SpreeTail and order your case directly from SKB.
