Skegss - Rehearsal - VINYL LP

Third album for Portuguese RAVENSIRE, a band that in a short time has become a referential name for fans of Epic / Traditional Metal. From the cover artwork to each one of the eight songs, The Cycle Never Ends shows the band's reaching maturity through an astonishing intense performance, leaving no place for weakness. Definitely recommended for fans of OMEN and old MANOWAR

Recorded in 1971 by a 27-year-old pastorand an after school program choir, Like AShip is a stirring and powerful meditationon the wayward aftermath of the CivilRights Movement. Tracked with the helpof Chess/Cadet maestros Gene Barge, PhilUpchurch, and Richard Evans, the albumis a mix of euphoric gospel and Mayfieldesque politcal soul, with sleigh bells, handclaps, and jazzy piano stabs. Sampled byT.I., Kanye, and Khalid, Barrett createda rapturous, crossover gospel classic that'sstill wildly relevant.

Pacific Highway Music reintroduces Skegss as the duo of Ben Reed and Jonny Lani, presenting their most masterful and fully realized work to date. The Byron Bay-bred band's third full-length album brings a newly heightened creative energy to every aspect of their explosive yet introspective form of rock. Centered on Reed's frenetic and playful lyricism, Pacific Highway Music finds Skegss exploring the more complicated elements of the human experience with sincerity and unabashed joie de vivre.
