Skin Trade [Blu-ray] [2015]

Tony Jaa exploded on the international scene back in the mid 2000s with Onk Bag 1 and The Protector. Then came the disappointing Onk Bag 2 and 3 and the horror Protector 2. Now he is back to form with Dolph Lundgren in Skin Trade. While the story involving human trafficking is still dark, the action is outstanding and a welcome for fans of Tony Jaa's first films.

It's hard to believe Dolph Lundren is 57, he can still go with the action stars of today, like Tony Jaa! This isn't King Lear, this is straight up action with a predictable plot, but what a cast Weller,White, uhhhhhh Perlman? I don't care if he did do a terrible Scorpion King movie, Ron Perlman can do no wrong. Check It out!

Normally Michael Jai White B movies are off the chain awesome, but this one misses the mark a bit. Not a bad flick but a little less hand to hand combat in this one which is a surprise with a cast that includes: Tony Jaa, Dolph L, and Michael J White. I suppose maybe I just expected more.

A rock solid action film with a couple dramatic twists and some surprisingly good character moments. The fights are a highlight. The photography is crisp and editing clear (no shaky cam). Definitely an underrated action film.

I must say this movie was a lot of fun. I loved the fight scenes. Dolph is in great shape. The fight between Tony and MJW was great. The film kept me involved throughout. If you like hard nosed action you will love this one.
