On this record, we let the songs breathe and explored moods, textures and sounds. We're excited for the world to hear TURN BLUE.' New Chain is the debut long-player from New York's Small Black. The Brooklyn group have succeeded in melting together locked and popped drum-shudder, gauzy spirographic synths and subtly contagious, half-remembered melody into ebullient bursts of evocative, subliminal and thoroughly modern pop. The songs are equally informed by the rhythmic bounce and stylistic swagger of more left-leaning contemporary radio rap and R'&'B as it is the submerged kaleidoscopic swirl of the early 4AD dream factory. Album Tracks 1. Camouflage 2. Search Party 3. Hydra 4. Photojournalist 5. Crisp 100S 6. Goons 7. Light Curse 8. New Chain 9. Panthers 10. Invisible Grid

The classic 1967 Chess album Muddy, Brass & The Blues, adds horns and prominent organ to Muddy Waters' basic band . Stripped of his guitar, Waters proves what a great R&B singer he was. Featuring Otis Spann on piano, and Sammy Lawhorn and Pee Wee Madison on guitar.
