The Little Mermaid (1997) tells the story of a mermaid named Ariel who falls in love with a human prince. To win his love, she makes a deal with a sea witch who takes away her singing voice. Ariel struggles to adapt to life on land without her voice, and the film follows her sacrifices and challenges in the quest to win his love.
