I have become a loyal customer to Best Buy for life and it’s because of the OUTSTANDING, PROFESSIONAL & KNOWLEDGEABLE service I received from the Geek Squad installers Israel and Michael. They were the A-Team, Dynamuc Duo, and Gold Medalists of my home theater install. I purchased Sonos speakers and subwoofer, a 77’ LG OLED TV and the latest Phillip Hue Lights that sync magically to the color that appear on the screen. It adds a whole new dimension in immersion. Anyone who comes over is impressed once they see it and takes out their phone to video the whole system at work. It is that IMPRESSIVE! AND it was only made possible because of the tenacity of Israel and Michael making sure everything worked correctly. Apple TV did not want to work with Hue Sync so they trouble shot problem and figured a Roku streaming stick would work better. I tell you all this because what impressed most was they never gave up. They could’ve said sorry Hue Sync doesn’t work , here’s your refund, but they didn’t do that. They knew how disappointed I would be, while the system was great with the tv picture and audiophile sound quality it was going to be a major letdown if the hue lights could not sync. So they never gave up. And for that I can never thank them enough and appreciate the quality of the Best Buy relationship hiring professionals who go above and beyond to make the customer happy. I can honestly say having Israel and Mike (Geek Squad) install my home Theater was the best money I ever spent! Forgot the name Best Buy. With employees like Israel and Michael representing them in the field Best Buy should shorten their name to “BEST”

These guys went above and beyond to get the house I just bought working. When Ricky couldn't figure it all out, he came back with Alan from Eugene and they spent at least 2 hrs sussing out how my new house was wired. I am very grateful.

Did not solve my issue. A different team was supposed to call and schedule another appointment but it never happened. My cousin recommended I purchase a basic switch. Ordered it, plugged it in myself, issue resolved. This was so basic, the geeks should have been able to do the same. What a waste of time and money. If it’s not an install with a manual, they are clueless. Why do I have Total Tech membership? And this cost me $80 I’ll never get back.

I recently moved from another state and had a Google Home device. Went I went to use it in my new home, it did not connect. I stripped off all old apps, deleted my NEST account, etc. and still did not work. The technician went through the same process and determined what was needed was a technical hard start, something I was unable to do. Once that was done, I was able to connect to my family group and pictures.

The techs that came out were excellent. The setting up the appointment was not smooth and the service rep that set up the appointment did not listen to what was asked but the techs set everything up and were professional, friendly and gave me instructions on how to complete the task due to improper scheduling.

Bobby has been to our home before and we specifically requested him because he is incredibly knowledgeable and very caring and kind. His assistant is also terrific to deal with! We needed our old Sonos system, purchased from Best Buy more than 10 years ago, updated and integrated with some new equipment. This was not a straightforward project, and Bobby did some research and experimented for some time and was able to get the best possible outcome given the equipment we have. In addition, I have developed a substantial hearing loss and he was also able to give us advice about what we can buy to help me hear our tv better, and we are looking forward to following through with the salespeople he recommended at our local Beat Buy.

Geek Squad rep Patrick Olson came to my house and explained and solved several tech issues I had with video doorbell, electronic latch, connectivity with my printer, and several other small problems I had with desk top computer and cell phone. He was patient with this Senior Citizen and I really appreciated his knowledge and courtesy.

The Geek squad had two assignments at my house. First they had to set up 65inTV and connect it to the stereo. Then they set up the Echo Dot to two different devices in the house. By the time they were done everything was working perfectly. The TV sounds great and all my questions are answered by the echo dot. Well worth have protection from the Geek squad. I'm
