About this product
Vinyl LP pressing. Doomy Chicago three-piece Snow Burial deliver their second full length album, Ostrava on Prosthetic Records. Recorded in early 2019 at Electrical Audio, Chicago with Shane Hochstetler at the helm, Ostrava maps where life's beauty and terror collide. Born from their defining experiences at home and on the road the unifying theme of Ostrava is one of duality - failure and triumph, celebration and mourning, isolation and family. Taking inspiration from the likes of Radiohead as much as any metal act; Snow Burial craft polished songs with the whirring machinery hidden just below the surface. Their blend of melody and aggression delivers a sound that dredges the depths of doom and sludge and marries it with rock 'n' roll sensibilities.

New 25th Anniversary Edition of Alex Ubago's debut album ¿Qué pides tú?. An iconic album that sold more than one million copies during the height of the piracy era. Beyond it's remarkable sales figures, the true achievement of these songs is that they became the soundtrack to several generations and helped define Spanish pop music in the 21st century. This new CD edition includes six bonus tracks, among them three versions taken from the legendary demo that changed Alex's career and life forever.

Led by the exuberant melodies of cross-tapping guitarist Marcos Mena, the duo named Standards make ebullient instrumental math-rock whose effervescent riffs teem with enthusiasm for life and music. On the band's debut full-length, Fruit Island, Standards deftly retool math-rock's sinister and challenging tendencies into a style that is at once danceable yet still compositionally profound. In spite of the band's technical and precise stylings, the strictly instrumental compositions are always catchy and singable, inviting listeners to join the band's dancing fruit mascots whose colorful personalities reflect the music's upbeat nature. Fruit Island's second single, InchMay,Inch perfectly captures the duo's fruity alternate universe, conjuring images of anthropomorphic melons and berries bobbing along to pleasantly angular riffs and chop-heavy drums.1) Fruit Island2) Nap3) Starfish4) Special Berry5) May6) Rainbow7) Mango8) Horchata9) Kiwi10) Changes11) Val Verde12) What You Aren't

The nine songs on Bury It not only allow the listener a glimpse into Lily's Pacific Northwest world, but also into her heart. Recorded during 2017 at Leftfield Studios with Joey Seward acting as engineer, producer, and instrumentalist; Bury It has Lily fine tuning what she has done on previous Squill releases, while also expanding the notion of what Punk can be. The first track on Bury It, InchFlinchInch, is a prime example of how Lily is able to blend aspects of Shoegaze, Indie Rock, and Punk into a sound that is uniquely her own. Each of the nine songs on Bury It are a series of snapshots frozen in time, that send the listener on a journey into the heart of a woman who is unafraid of baring her soul to the world. From start to finish Bury It is a captivating and intimate listening experience.1. Flinch 2. Cinder and Coals 3. Lean 4. Lost Objects 5. Old Skin 6. Sliver 7. Red Mexico 8. Bury It 9. Tidal Waves
