About this product
Limited yellow colored vinyl LP pressing. Includes . 2020 from Soft Palms, the brainchild of wife-and-husband duo Julia Kugel (The Coathangers, White Woods) and Scott Montoya (formerly of The Growlers). The album is a feast of rich sounds and simple, comforting melodies threading together sock hop rock n' roll, scrappy dream pop, and ethereal torch songs into a sultry, spacey, and sublime journey towards brighter horizons. The entire album gives off an aura of intimacy while also creating a broader, pastel colored world-a duality achieved through Montoya's unique and meticulous recording process at the couple's home studio the Centre Of Mental Arts (COMA), and the magisterial mastering job by longtime friend and collaborator Mick Boggis (Pogues, Mötorhead, 12 Monkeys, Joe Strummer, etc.) who has served as a mentor throughout Montoya's recording career.

In Echo reflects this time of chaos with reverberating urgency. Julia Kugel (Coathangers) and Scott Montoya (ex-Growlers) weaponize garage rock and reverb on a confrontational album that cuts through the static quo. Songs are like a call to arms, observational and urgent. Written as a response toevents of the past five years (2020-2025), the album presents a stark contrast from the first self-titled

The Paul BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND set the standards in the 1960s for kick-ass electric blues. Arguably no other group could hold a candle to them. In 1964 The Paul BUTTERFIELD BLUES BAND recorded what was to be their first album for Elektra Records. For unknown reasons the album was never issued and sat quietly in the vaults for 30 years. The Original Lost Elektra Sessions features original versions of some their most beloved tracks, plus some tracks very few people have ever heard. The album features Mike Bloomfield, Elvin Bishop & Sam Lay. This historic CD is now back in print due to screaming fan requests.
