Classic Sonic game revived, glad it got its time with good graphics with the PS4 instead of the original drab Wii version. I also have the Switch version which is a blurry mess compared to this.

Sonic Colors Ultimate is a disappointing “Remaster” but an alright port. There is barely any new content and what it there is lackluster to say the least with new cosmetics, A Rival rush mode, and a new wisp all the chips should be in Ultimates favor but it all feels so slapped together. There is no care or fineness in any of the new content especially the Sweet Spot Homing attack which has an annoying screech sound effect that grates on your ears within the first two levels. The graphics look washed out and blurry at times on PS5 with it being obvious the game was not properly translated to a higher resolution. It’s not all bad though because Sonic Colors at its core is a good game. It’s certainly not the best 3D Sonic game with there being more 2D than 3D gameplay but the levels are inspired and inventive the settings are gorgeous and fun and the music is fantastic. This may not be the best way to play this game but it’s serviceable and far more accessible to the casual gamer. I wish the game had more Time in the oven but it still is a great time worth your money. I wouldn’t buy it full price anything within the $25 $15 range is a steal for what is a fairly decent way to play this classic Sonic Game.

Vivid colors and no lag make for an awesome gameplay experience. Great for all ages!

This was the first game for my young son as a Christmas present (PS$ "from" Santa was the big gift). He loves the Sonic movies, and thought this was ideal. He seems to enjoy it but doesn't play as often as I thought. Might be the learning curve on the game as no one in our family are big gamers.

I love this game!!! More importantly my son loves this game. He’s five and the new Sonic movies introduced him to gaming. Excellent way to spend time together. Perfect for any retro or classic gamer.

I went on a Sonic kick where I had to own every sonic game on PS4 or PS5 and that's all this was. Backlogged for now.

The updates after release really helped this game out. Although I really wish they would've added more to it like the extra boss that was in the DS version. Overall is still a good sonic game.
