Customer Ratings & Reviews

The Sonos Era 300 has become my favorite speaker in the house. Its unique design looks modern and premium, and the sound is simply stunning — wide, immersive soundstage with crisp highs, clear vocals, and surprisingly punchy bass for a single speaker. Spatial audio (Dolby Atmos) tracks feel truly enveloping, especially in stereo pairs or as rear surrounds. Setup is quick and seamless via the Sonos app, with excellent Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth option. It fills my living room effortlessly and pairs beautifully with my Sub Mini for even deeper impact. Whether streaming music, watching movies, or podcasts, the detail and scale are outstanding. If you're building or expanding a Sonos system, the Era 300 is a fantastic choice that delivers high-end performance. Worth every penny — 5 stars!

I recently purchased a Bluetooth speaker, and I am extremely satisfied with my choice. This speaker has exceeded my expectations in terms of sound quality, design, and functionality. Firstly, let's talk about the sound quality. The speaker delivers rich, clear, and immersive audio that truly fills the room. Whether I'm listening to my favorite tracks or watching a movie, the bass is deep and punchy, while the highs are crisp and detailed. The overall sound balance is exceptional, allowing me to enjoy a wide range of genres without any distortion or muddiness. The design of this Bluetooth speaker is also worth mentioning. It has a sleek and modern look that easily complements any decor. The compact size makes it portable and easy to carry around, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. The build quality is sturdy, and the controls are conveniently placed for effortless operation. When it comes to functionality, this speaker doesn't disappoint. Pairing it with my devices was a breeze, thanks to its reliable Bluetooth connectivity. It also supports multiple input options, such as AUX and USB, which adds versatility to its usage. Additionally, the battery life is impressive, allowing me to enjoy hours of uninterrupted playback on a single charge. Another noteworthy feature is the built-in microphone, which enables hands-free calling. The speaker picks up voices clearly, and the call quality is exceptional. This functionality has been particularly useful during conference calls or when I want to have a hands-free conversation with friends and family. Overall, I highly recommend this Bluetooth speaker to anyone in search of an excellent audio experience. Its remarkable sound quality, stylish design, and user-friendly features make it a standout product in its category. Whether you're hosting a party, going on a trip, or simply relaxing at home, this speaker will undoubtedly enhance your music listening experience.

The shape is compact, yet attractive. Don't let the compact shape fool you. The sound quality excels all expectations, delivering sounds around you for a movie theater experience without the cost of the tickets or the overpriced snacks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS INVESTMENT IN YOUR SURROUND SOUND SYSTEM.

The Sonos Era 300 delivers an immersive sound experience with six strategically positioned drivers that create a 360-degree audio effect. It supports Dolby Atmos and offers versatile connectivity with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB-C input for additional sources. Built-in Amazon Alexa allows easy voice control. Its modern, sleek design makes it both functional and stylish. While the overall sound quality is excellent, some users mention that vocal clarity could be improved. Still, the Era 300 is a solid choice for those seeking high-quality, immersive sound.

The ERA 300 add nice surround sound to my setup which includes the ARC Ultra Soundbar and Sub 4. I installed them close to the ceiling height, so the option to mount them upside down to make the best use of their acoustics is very useful. I used the SONOS brackets but I think the aftermarket options have the same functionality at a lower price point. The wireless sound connection makes it easy to “plug and play”, using the SONOS app which is pretty user-friendly. When using them to play music from Apple Music app (not through the AppleTV box), they deliver a nice crisp powerful sound. There’s no need to change operating modes, the SONOS app adjusts itself accordingly depending on the device input (TV or Music source),

These speakers are nothing short of phenomenal. From the moment I powered them on, the sound was rich, immersive, and incredibly detailed—crisp highs, warm mids, and bass that’s deep without ever overpowering. Every song feels alive, like a private concert in my own space, and even at higher volumes the clarity stays flawless. The design is just as impressive as the performance—sleek, modern, and effortlessly elevating the room. I’ve owned plenty of audio gear over the years, but these speakers truly stand out and have completely transforms how I experience music. I really love that you can sync the whole house if you wanted. Worth every penny!

I put two Sonos Era 300s in my room — one on the left, one on the right — thinking it would just be “extra nice sound.” Incorrect. What I built was a fully immersive sonic event. Music doesn’t play anymore — it materializes. Vocals float dead center like the artist is standing between the speakers asking if I’m emotionally okay. Drums punch from the sides, bass rolls through the room, and random sounds appear behind me just to remind me these speakers are in charge now. Then I watched a movie. Huge mistake… because now I can’t go back. Explosions actually move through the room. Footsteps don’t just sound close — they walk past you. Dialogue is so clear it feels like the actors rented space in my bedroom. I caught myself looking around during scenes like, “Wait… was that behind me?” (It was. Thanks, spatial audio.) It genuinely feels like a home theater without the mess of wires, receivers, or selling your soul to cable management. Just press play and suddenly you’re in a cinema… wearing sweatpants. The stereo separation is wild. Left is LEFT. Right is RIGHT. Every sound knows exactly where it belongs and refuses to mix with the wrong crowd. Downsides: • Regular speakers are ruined forever • I now rewatch movies “for the sound” • My neighbors are definitely aware of every action scene Final verdict: If you want your bedroom to double as a concert hall and a movie theater, two Sonos Era 300s will absolutely do it — and then flex about it. 10/10. Would buy again. Would apologize to neighbors later.

The Sonos Era 300 is a game-changer in home audio! I was blown away by the rich, immersive soundstage that truly fills the room. The Dolby Atmos support makes a huge difference, delivering spatial audio that feels three-dimensional—perfect for music lovers and home theater enthusiasts alike. The build quality is top-notch, with a sleek, modern design that fits seamlessly into any space. Setup was incredibly easy with the Sonos app, and the ability to connect via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even a line-in option makes it super versatile. Voice assistants like Alexa and Sonos Voice Control add extra convenience. Whether you’re listening to music, watching movies, or just enjoying a podcast, the clarity and depth of sound are unmatched. If you’re looking for a premium wireless speaker with next-level audio quality, the Sonos Era 300 is absolutely worth it!

I didn’t buy these right away because I wasn’t sure how much of a difference they would make. A few weeks later, I decided to add them to my Sonos system, and I’m glad I did. They completely changed the experience. Movies and TV shows feel much more immersive, and the surround effects are far more noticeable. If you’re already invested in the Sonos ecosystem and you’re on the fence, these are absolutely worth adding. They took an already great setup to the next level.

I purchased two of these from Best Buy one in-store and one online. These were to add to my Sonos system in my home - to be a stereo pair in the great room. Set up and pairing as a stereo pair was straightforward and easy. These truly sound great. Very enjoyable having these to listen to music in the great room. There are many reviews of these speakers on YouTube, and most are very favorable. I highly recommend the Sonos Era 300 speakers.

Sonos Era 300 is an exceptional speaker that delivers immersive, room-filling sound with remarkable clarity and detail. Its spatial audio capabilities create a rich and engaging listening experience, making music, movies, and games feel more lifelike. With premium build quality, easy setup, and seamless integration within the Sonos ecosystem, it stands out as one of the best wireless speakers available today.

I made a small error in judgement with this speaker in my setup, so I hope this helps anyone who is looking at this speaker for their home setup. Purchased the Sonos Era 300 as a standalone speaker with the idea of connecting it to my TV for a better home theater solution. While this can work if you choose to do so, I chose a different path after some tweaking with the other Sonos products. Sonos products are expensive and can't be labeled as a value but don't get me wrong they are a great product. Some pros for this Sonos 300 Speaker: Immersive and spacious soundstage. Deep, Impactful bass performance. Supports Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio experiences. Versatile connectivity options including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. One of the advantages of this speaker is its Bluetooth capability as it can be connected to any device that supports it. Ultimately, I decided to use this speaker as a standalone for streaming music in our home. To unleash the pure power of the Sonos 300 for streaming, Apple Music and Amazon support Dolby Atmos and its a game changer. Even if you use Spotify or others, the sound is amazing, but playing an Atmos track on this device is another experience. Fair Warning - if you wish to purchase this speaker and connect it to a Sonos soundbar, you will need (2) of them to pair it. When I tried to pair this (1) speaker with the soundbar I was unable to. I ended up pairing the the Sonos Beam Soundbar with the Sonos Sub Mini, which was the perfect compliment for my room. These speakers are powerful and can be paired as mentioned with any Sonos soundbar, and would be more beneficial in a larger room. In review, the Sonos Era 300 stands out as a high-quality smart speaker, offering a rich and immersive audio experience however you decide to use it.

Thanks to the multi-driver layout (side, up, forward), the Era 300 does a really good job of creating a spatial audio feel. Even with regular stereo tracks, many reviewers note that there’s better separation, “width,” and an engaging sense of space. Spatial Audio / Atmos Performance (when it works) Where you do have Atmos / spatial tracks (from services like Apple Music or Amazon Music Unlimited), the effect can be quite powerful: sounds appear to come from above, from sides, center, and the listening experience is more enveloping. Sound Detail & Dynamics Across reviews, people praise how much detail is preserved, how well vocals, reverb, ambient cues, and background details are handled. Pretty clean, crisp in the mids and highs. Bass & Power For its size, it delivers punchy, physical bass, especially when cranked up. It can fill a room.

I bought one and liked it so much I bought another and made a set. I paired it with a SONOS MINI SUB Bass unit. Great sound for a small to medium size room. An alternative to the SONOS FIVE speakers which are excellent as well. These speakers are designed to play Spatial Audio best.

These are the best speakers I ever had very easy to connect through Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and the sound is incredible

This product is an 11/10. It is perfect for movies, TV shows, and sports. My favorite is watching House of Dragons and other Dolby Atmos compatible shows and movies.

Initially had some connection woes (setting a static IP on my mesh router for this device fixed them for me), but after it was all set up, this has been such a pleasant addition to our home. Produces a very pleasant, full bodied sound, that fills our living room well, especially when playing Dolby Atmos tracks. The Sonos app needs some work imho, but the hardware is fantastic.

Easy to link to new Arc Ultra Soundbar, love the sound fidelity when watching movies, looking forward to more as just installed last week. See picture, ERA 300 is next to my SONOS Sub and SONOS MOVE.

This is actually my first sonos i have ever purchased and at first i was leary about the price but not anymore! I bought this model for the spatial audio / dolby atmos features. And let me just say, If you want to feel like every artist is sitting in your room playing a private concert for you then BUY THIS SPEAKER. I can’t even get the thing to max volume and it fills the room so well! I am hearing instruments and vocals I have never heard before. There is a huge selection of spatial audio music on apple music too. I have had a of wide variety of speakers and this thing blows everything out of the water. I cant wait to expand my Sonos collection! So well made with a great app user interface that makes everything super simple. This is a speaker for the audio enthusiast!!

The Sonos 500 has amazing base. I was concerned that most of the speakers i was gonna buy had high Treble, but this one has such a rounded sound and strong Bass, that it made everything sound beautiful highly recommend cannot wait to buy another one. Super easy to set up definitely the way to go to surround sound in the house or apartment.
