I bought this TV for my bedroom. The resolution is great and channels are easy to add and edit. I opted to hang this TV on the wall and all wiring is hidden behind the wall. Easy to hang it by yourself if you are comfortable working around electronics. I was able to locate a low profile surge protector that is hidden behind the TV. The power supply also nicely fits between the wall bracket and the TV out of view. I have a rooftop antenna and the reception is superb. The TV is internet capable and easy to set up with your home network. It has Netflix as an option on the remote and Amazon Instant Video, Crackle, VUDU movies and TV, YouTube, and Opera TV when the Home button is pressed. There are a number of preloaded apps but the TV does not offer the option to add additional apps. Sound quality is also very good and can be adjusted under settings.

We install a lot of TVs this one has a great picture and ok sound. I understand the complaint on the smart tv but it just takes a little time to get used to it.

I like Sony but this model isn't better than last one. This model doesn't have wall mount bracket and the old one did.

7 mos in with new 48" Sony screen/picture develops a white spot in upper right corner. The TV hadn't moved in the 7 mos from it's location in a protective cabinet. Sony warranty claimed it was "physical damage" and denied warranty claim. The TV had not been moved, touched, bumped, etc. since install and the screen problem that developed was not due to any action on our part. Very disappointed in Sony warranty

This is a great TV for people who aren't looking to upgrade to a 4k television set any time soon. It gets the job done by providing HD quality picture and sounds. It was a bit tedious to set up the stand that came with the TV, but got it hooked up with some help. The TV is very light in weight and slim in size and looks great. My PS4 works well with the display this TV displays and notice nothing bad about the picture or lag. Also the SmartTV features work great with Netflix, Youtube, and other applications to connect to. TLDR; Great TV for gaming, HD TV, and streaming. If you can't afford a 4k display, this TV is great for what it's worth.

Easy set-up. Awesome picture. We purchase the TV last minute before th 2017 Super Bowl, the TV was out of the box and set up in no time to watch the game . The picture quality is great. I would highly recommend it.

Our 2007 Insignia plasma 43" was due for a change. Found the Sony 48" motion flow 240 open box for $351 with free shipping. I am not a tech guy but was able to run our whole entertainment center through it .With limited space it fit perfectly with less than an inch to spare on length where the old plasma was. Since we had a HP ENVY i7 desk top we did not need a "smart" TV. We love the picture and the 240 motion flow. With some trouble shooting and updated cables we now run the computer (Netflix, gaming, music, dvds, cds, wireless keyboard and mouse, printer), cable box, VHS, and sound bar through it with room for more. We could not have found a better fit for us at the price!

Works well really like how the clicker has a Net flicks button. Picture is good set up was easy, except there were no screws for the stand! You have to go to a hardware store to get screws.the directions tell you the screw size to the for 4 screws to mount two the wall but not the size for the stand which was a size smaller

I bought this TV for basement (man cave). It processes attachments faster than my Vizio 47" M series. The picture quality is great for anyone not seeking to a thousand dollars on 4K television. Also the TV is a really space saver and very light. It sinks with my Sony receiver for one remote operations as far as the volume and powering off and on goes.

I love this TV. Beautiful picture. Operates very easily and was perfect on my budget. Love the fact that it comes on really quickly and that it is a smart tv. Can hook up any computer to it and turn it into a giant monitor. Great size too. Not too small and not too big.

The TV itself has a great sharp picture. I love the fact that it is SMART TV. Watching Netflix has never been easier. The TV is light weight and easy to move around. The base is small and in the center making it easy to find a stand to put it on.

This is perfect for our besroom. The depth of this TV makes it easy to mount to the wall without taking up a lot of space. The picture is clear and we love that it is a smart tv. Easy to set up and connect to the Internet.

We have a office/den where we occasionally watch news and network shows. Size and features of the tv met our needs and picture quality looked good enough in the showroom. Picture quality and features are ok and serve the intended purpose very well. As expected we have had no problems. Our only negative is the picture and control response are not up to the standards of our XBR model televisions. We saved some money and got a good tv, but will always feel we should have paid the price and got another XBR.

Sony has always made excellent TVs. The colors, the contrast, the clarity, the perception of depth, the natural colors of the pictures, all make TV watching more satisfying to all ages. We have only Sony TVs in our home and our children grew up learning and enjoying them. Guess what, as they became adults and had their own families....they had Sony TV in their homes! You can never go wrong buying a Sony.

I debated long on this because Sony does not have a web browser on its smart TV. Samsung does so I went back and forth because I have used a Samsung smart TV and liked it. In the end I went with the Sony because we have had a Bravia non smart TV for a few years and it has been great. The speakers sound good, not thin and weak like some TVs. The apps on the Sony are more than adequate for me. The only down side I can see right now is that there aren't enough connection options. I had to buy an adapter for my Wii so I could run it through one of the 2 HDMI ports because my DVD player was running through the only component ports. I also had to buy a new audio cable to run from the TV to my receiver because the only out port was an optical. Then there are the 2 unused USB ports which I may find some use for in the future. Another minor annoyance is the info bars Sony puts up every time I turn on the TV. I use a TiVo remote so I have to put up with some of the screen being blocked for a short period of time or go find the Sony remote. This Bravia has a setting to make the display smaller but not stop it altogether. On the plus side,I thought I wouldn't be able to do Screen Mirroring with my Samsung phone, but the Sony handles it just fine. So the only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the lack of connectivity.

I typically don't pick the most expensive TVs when I make a TV purchase and the price was reasonable due to a sale, but I'm here to report the extra $100-$200 for this SONY TV vs. any other similiar cheaper brands of the same size is truly the smartest investment I've made in regards to TVs. It has the best picture and SMART Tv programming of all my TVs that I currently have that are all similiar size and models. This SONY is better than my VIZIO, LG, and HISENSE 50" smart TVs.
