This TV is amazing—definitely the best TV I've owned so far. The picture quality looks incredibly cinematic. If I didn't already have my Sonos Arc Ultra, I'd definitely consider Sony's new home theater trio paired with the Sub 9. The sound is amazing when it's paired with the TV, making the whole experience even more immersive.

The picture quality is excellent! The colors are bright and the blacks are as good as any OLED set I’ve seen. My only complaint is the integrity of the anti-glare coating on the screen. Handling of the screen during setup of my audio system created fingerprints that were not able to be removed. Best Buy was great and replaced the TV.

2026 Sony 85" Bravia 9 mark II Mini RGB 4K HDR TV

Sony's last version of Bravia that will not have parts made in CCP. Sony will be corroborating with TCL in their next version of this flagship television for the screen function, as TCL is literally half the cost of the currently made Sony screen. If you do not want a television made in China, then get this last version from Sony, and hope they change their minds in the next 5-7 years to go back to Sony making their own. Just a thought. This television does not disappoint from brightness to clarity and everything in between. Amazing colors, sharp details, and it even includes IMAX capabilities for those movies that offer this option. Too bad Sony is caving to peer pressure for all of their follow-on products after this one. Sources for this information include CNet, Consumer Reports, Tom's Hardware.com.

If you have a viewing area that fights with ambient light, this is the display to get. Massive brightness for daytime viewing and beautiful, inky blacks and cinema quality colors and motion for night-time movie watching.

I love the color accuracy of this TV! Sony processing is clearly ahead of their competitors. Still some minor blooming but overall, a clear alternative to OLED.

New RGB Quality

The new RGB technology gives this TV a very bright and colorful picture. The only thing that needs to be improved is the off-angle viewing. As you increase your viewing angle from center the picture losses some of its punch.

The color was not quite what we were looking for. It seemed a little off in the yellow spectrum. We ultimately returned it and went with something else.
