Bought this camera for two reasons - backpacking and portrait photography. Backpacking: 5/5 -Weather resistant. I bought this camera over the older 6000 models because the material felt more durable. -Very lightweight! I added a Peak Capture Clip to my backpack for easy access and it worked out amazingly. -Focal range on the 16-50mm included lens is great for landscapes -Love the flip-out screen for selfies -Fantastic auto-focus! This was a huge step-up from my Canon Rebel T6 DSLR. Portraits: 4/5 -Color science is not as strong as Canon cameras. There is a slight green tint to all my photos. -Eye tracking is FANTASTIC. I can count the lashes on my clients for most photos. -Included lens is good (but not great) for indoor light scenarios. Lower apertures (f/1.8 - f/3.5) have worked better for me in eliminating noise indoors. -You'll probably want to get a better lens for portraits For the pricepoint, it's a great deal. The downsides for this camera are really just that you don't get a full-frame and there is no IBIS. You'll need to keep crop-factor in mind when purchasing lenses.

I am not a professional. I’ve always loved taking pictures, but decided to invest into my first camera. I was told by many photographer friends that they always end up falling in love with Sony, so I decided to give it a try and I’ve LOVED it. I’m still learning. But it’s so easy and user friendly! Shooting in automatic is pretty simple and straight forward, but I’ve loved learning manual mode. If you’re a beginner, I would recommend this camera-as long as you are good with technology. Don’t get me wrong, as great and fun as this experience has been, it takes trial and error and time to understand features and work around them. So don’t expect to just suddenly be a great photographer. My final review, 9/10, even 10/10! It’s a 10/10 when you purchase lenses for it (besides the kit it comes with). (The picture attached is a quick shot I took of my dog when first opening the package. Just to show the quality of the photos at first shot)

All I have to say is Wow! This camera rocks. If your looking for a more than decent camera that doesn't break the bank, this is it. I would have to say that this is a beginners camera for the professionals. Everything at your fingertips. Easy to navigate. Does not overheat. You can record as much as your SD card allows you too. I mean the list goes on and on. Do yourself a favor and stop hesitating and purchase this camera. You will thank me later.

Slight renewed to the photo industry. Previous to using this camera I use to take pictures witt my camera phones. I purchased this camera with the expectation that it can do things that my phone cannot. It has done above and beyond with wonderful expectations of capturing moments that my phone could not. I highly recommend purchasing this camera. Also the benefit of it allowing me to share immediately with friends and family is something that I extremely love by capturing within the moment. It’s easier to use and I like the multiple options i get you in terms of accessories. You will not be disappointed.

Great camera quality especially being open box I’ve been using this camera for the last 2 years it’s a definite work horse. For photography it is at a price point that beats out any camera in my mind, if you’re trying to be as professional as possible while staying in a minimalist budget. Not a great option if video is your main focus there is no in body stabilization, if shot on a tripod the video quality is great at 4k but capped at 30fps.

Best starter camera. Got it take more DJ photos. Been using it since. Love it! Works good with low lighting, just need adjust some settings.

Great camera for those interested in photography/videography. Quality is great and menu is easy to use. The video quality is exceptional. I was surprised.

Beautiful camera. Lightweight while feeling solid in hand. Great quality. As this is my first camera, it isn’t the absolute easiest for a beginner. However, although there is a learning curve involved, there are very many resources online that give you step by step instructions on using the camera. Very pleased with this product.

Love this thing. I already own the Sony a7III and this is the perfect companion to it. It does not have IBIS, but that's a small trade-off for the awesome price. The video is also awesome. Up to 120fps 1080! My only two gripes are that it charges via micro B, and it doesn't have a headphone jack. (It does have a mic jack, though!)

The 6400 is the way to go for the more affordable aps-c series. It’s got the best benefits of the series with a lower price tag than the higher series models. Flip out full rotation screen, fixed color profile and viewfinder (which the zv-e10 lacks). Truly a great lightweight and versatile travel camera with many options to help you capture whatever it is you’re looking for.

This is my first digital camera. It is very light and take nice pictures. Very good resolution.

Great starter camera! It works really god for portraits and photography like that! If you’re getting into portraits I’d start with the sigma 56mm lens!!

Great sharp focus. Tricky to use if you are unfamiliar with Sony cameras. Go manual and pull your own focus unless you know your rig well. Buy extra batteries and charger.

I use this camera for car photography, and videography, also gym content, and it works amazing! Pretty good in low light, the auto focus is amazing and super fast!

Great camera, the cheap kit lens is as good as a cheap kit lens but that doesn’t mean you can’t get good shots with it.

Amazing Camera 5 Stars. Once i color grade and do all the effects the photos look amazing, initially wanted the A7 but decided to save a couple bucks and i am not disappointed 1 bit.
