I’ve been using the Sony a6700 for a few weeks now, and it’s hands down one of the most impressive APS-C mirrorless cameras I’ve tried. The autofocus is lightning fast and incredibly accurate, especially for tracking subjects in motion. Image quality is sharp with great dynamic range, and the colors straight out of the camera are vibrant and natural. The addition of AI-based subject recognition makes a noticeable difference, especially for video work. Speaking of which, the 4K 120fps video is a game changer — smooth, detailed, and perfect for slow-motion footage. I also appreciate the improved ergonomics and the flip-out screen, which makes vlogging or self-shooting much easier. Battery life is solid, the menu system feels more intuitive than older Sony models, and the build quality is rugged yet lightweight. Overall, the a6700 strikes an excellent balance between professional performance and portability — an ideal choice for hybrid shooters and content creators alike.

I purchased the camera online and took delivery at my local Best Buy. While there, I also purchased an on sale camara backpack. Anyway, Best Buy made the purchase process painless, and my local Best Buy Geek Squad rocked my pickup experience. The camara: A6700 with 18mm-135mm lens The camera takes great pictures and videos. I do recommend going through all the settings to get items configured just the way you like them. I watched an online video that guided me through the settings on a video streaming platform. I've had great fun capturing landscapes, portraits, flowers, insects, and whatever else catches my eye while I have the camera on-hand. I really like how small and light it is. It's easy to carry in a small backpack without my shoulders getting sore after carrying it all day. I did connect it (by USB-C) to my laptop and used it for video passthru. It does get hot doing that. It did not complain about overheating after my 1hr meeting. It is possible I missed a setting that might impact heat management. Still, it does what I need it to do. If I find I need a longer recording time, I may purchase a fan cooling attachment. If you don't need a full-frame camera this is the Sony camera to get.

I was looking for a camera that was capable of both high quality photo and video to document life as it happens. Upon hours and hours of researching and comparing camera's, I found this one. I have owned Nikon, Canon and now wanted to take a chance on Sony as I have always been intrigued by it. I highly recommend this camera. The functions are easy to understand, and this camera has great tracking and autofocus. I also wanted to try making some short films. In the first week of owning this camera, I made a cooking short film, a prayer short film (Stills included below), pit stop one, and took some self-portraits. Additionally, it is very easy to connect the camera to your phone and shoot remotely as well as transfer photos and videos quickly. The screen flipping all the way out also is a tremendous help when self-recording. If I had to choose all over again, I would choose this camera again.

I bought the A6700 to begin my photography as an hobby and do not regret it one bit. It was an expensive purchase, but really covers all of my bases. I can use it remotely with my phone, has long battery life, and I have a plethora of lenses to choose from in the Sony lineup as well as third party lenses like Viltrox. Not to mention the quality of the photos is superb. I’d recommend getting the body alone and using the money you’re saving on a prime lens instead though.

My first ever mirrorless camera. I am very happy with this purchase and I love how well rounded this camera is for video and photography. Compact, lightweight and versatile.. especially impressed with the autofocus and how good the ergonomics is.

I’ve really enjoyed using the Sony A6700, especially for city photography. It’s been great for capturing skylines, busy streets, architecture, and portraits, and the image quality has been a big step up from shooting mainly on my phone. The autofocus is fast and reliable, and the camera is compact enough to carry around while traveling or walking through a city. I also really like how easy it is to transfer photos directly to my phone using Sony’s Creators’ App. That makes it simple to quickly edit or share shots without needing a computer. There’s a bit of a learning curve if you’re new to cameras, but once you start getting comfortable with the settings, it’s a lot of fun to use. There are pretty cool ways to see the most used features as shortcuts.Overall, the A6700 feels like a great balance of image quality, portability, and ease of use. Just go for it

Fantastic little mirrorless. Coming from an aged SLR (Canon), landing on this unit was a process of needs/wants and cost comparison. In the end, the advanced autofocus and support for the Sony lens ecosystem (E-mount) set us up for either the a6400 or the a6700. The in-body image stabilization was the feature that decided the purchase. Superb camera.

This was a gift to my brother. He is enjoying it alot. No complains! He takes it everywhere he goes.

There is no paper manual included explaining functions on the camera. You need to charge battery in camera using a phone charger. I bought battery charger. I like the versatility with the 18-135 lens. No flash included. The last camera I bought was the Sony A 10 mg pixels over 20 years ago. I needed to google how to download my pictures into my phone gallery from the Creaters' app. I am sure it will get easier with use. Picture taken without a flash.

Excellent camera, it met all my expectations. I highly recommend it. Very good zoom, image and video quality, spectacular captures.

Beautiful image quality, cannot compare to other brands, This camera will take a true raw image exactly how you see it with your own eyes. Its not enhanced with vibrance or more exposure like other cameras.

I’ve had it for a few months now and have had the opportunity to play around with the settings. I still have much to learn but so far I love this camera! It’s small, easy to carry on hikes, easy to travel with, easy to use overall. 10/10!!!!
