STUNNING. AMAZING. 100% WELL WORTH IT!
This lens has been 100% well worth the investment. I learned about it from a Best Buy associate - before that I didn't even know it existed but when he showed it to me I thought I was dreaming. I had to reconsider my 24-70 F2.8 that I went into the store to buy... BUT it was SO worth it. It is much lighter than the Canon version and takes absolutely stunning images. I love using primes, so this is the ideal set up for weddings, mini sessions, family sessions, portraits sessions, pets... you name it. I have other lenses for traveling and real estate photography, but this takes the cake for everything else I shoot.

Simply the best lens available today.
Avid photographer here. I shoot mostly Sony and some Leica. I have used the Sigma DG DN II and the Sony 24-70mm GMII and I will say that this lens is better than both. The quality and speed are unmatched. It's not as heavy as I thought. The smooth zoom makes framing shots a snap. This will be on my camera a ton going forward.

BEST SONY ZOOM LENS EVER CREATED
This lens is a game changer!! I like it so much more than the other zoom lens 24-70mm f/2.8 I am used to shooting with the Sony 50mm GM f/1.2 and love the creaminess it produces. This lens does exactly that and easily replaces my 35 mm, 50 mm, and 85 mm. You will not regret this purchase. These are the photos I took with my Sony a7RV + Sony FE 28-70 F2 GM lens.
