A: Hi Rikki, the lens will work on the a3000 with some exceptions : The SteadyShot is not supported. When a dedicated ultra-wide converter (SEL075UWC) is attached, the Exif lens name is recorded as "FE 21mm F2.8." Also, when the dedicated fisheye converter (SEL057FEC) is attached, the Exif lens name is recorded as "FE 16mm F3.5 Fisheye."
Q: Does it have an auto focus capability? I know there are some lenses that don't.
A: Hi RichardBoboljov, the Sony FE 28mm F2 does have auto-focus capability. You can use this lens both in auto-focus and manual focus mode by changing the focus setting on the camera body.
