This lens works perfect with my Sony FS700, and the FS7, but also fits in perfectly with my A7S. Servo zooms are a rarety at this price range, and many shooters have never used them, but if you are doing events or any other type of run and gun coverage, this is the perfect lens for you. Sure I wish it was f/2.8 instead of f/4.0, but I think the size and price of the lens would go through the roof. And with high ISO quality getting better on every camera, I doubt the f/4.0 will be an issue, unless you are looking for a super shallow depth of field. The controls on the lens are super easy to use, having your aperture control and manual to autofocus right on the lens saves you time by not having to mess with camera controls, and makes life very easy if you are using different types of bodies.

A great Cine lens for the Sony E-mount cameras. Lens is quite big but what do you expect for such great quality. This lens is also a parfocal lens so when you zoom in it will stay in focus on your subject. It's also an power zoom so they are buttery smooth. Don't expect to do super quick zooms though. This is a great complement to the A7S cameras but will work for all A7 and A6500/6300 cameras. Only con I would say is the price.

This lens is superb .it has all the features you want from a cine lens . Super sharp no focus breathing and holds focus through all focal ranges. Not to mention this lens is also a great one for photography its auto focus is quick and precise. Extremely minimal distortion and phenomenal built in imagine stabilization. I purchased this lens first over my 16-35 and 70-200 Sony lenses if I had to choose a lens to keep on my A7s body it would be this one. If your even considering this diamond ....just buy it you won't regret it considering anything close to this costs 3-4 Times the ammount !
Great lense with a good cquality , but it is a bite big

It takes some hands on practice learning. This lens functions smoothly, is well balanced and is fast and sharp. The controls are well placed and easy to learn. In spite of the weight, it is comfortable and non fatiguing to use. Focus is fast and power zoom very smooth. I really like it

We are more than satisfied with the ergonomics of this lens. The ability to control the aperture, shutter speed, and focus of the lens from the lens greatly adds to its overall value.

You won't find a better cinema lens at this price, powered zoom, silent aperture ring and super sharp. A great addition to any filmmakers kit.
