This thing is a beast! I upgraded from my Sony A6700 mainly because I really needed a camera to handle this texas heat. With others i’ve tried and used i’ve had issues with overheating and not being able to capture stuff like events or weddings. Whereas with my FX2 i’m able to record the entire day and never have to worry about if this camera will automatically shut off on me. Not to mention it technically being hybrid because it can do stills also. I needed that feature for myself as well just in case on the chance that I do photos instead as well. It’s great being able to have a FX line cinema camera and still be able to quickly switch to a photo.

Solid a-cam with great image quality

This camera has really leveled up my production. The color reproduction is beautiful, no overheating issues with a built in fan, amazing build quality and infinite customization with 7 programmable buttons. If you do not need to shoot 120p in 4k, this is THE camera for you.

Really a great camera that can do so many things. I love the build and updated specs. The hybrid camera is exactly what I’m looking for. The internal fan and cooling fins really sold me.
