Bought it for my 95 yer old mother who likes to listen to her music "the old fashioned way". It is sturdy, lightweight and easy to use with great volume.

I take this portable radio everywhere, even to Mexico. It is light in weight and easy to pack or carry around. I've had it over a year and just changed the batteries this past month. It also works super well with the headphones.

Simple pocket-sized light-weight radio does exactly what it is designed to do. Very easy to operate and good clean sound and reception. Fits easily into any pocket. Also easy on batteries.

Sony - Portable AM/FM Radio with Speaker - Black. Working just fine. The sound is clear, it stays on the station I put it on. By far this radio is small but very mighty . I am very happy with this product. I would recommend it to a friend.

Works great. I use it to listen to Angels baseball regularly, comes in clearer than in my car. Haven't had to change the batteries and have used it alot.

Sometimes tricky to find a station, but have to get accustomed to the dial since it is not digital tuning. Otherwise, great to have !! Only need 2 AA batteries PERIOD....If power goes out, you will have no TV, no internet, etc, etc.

Would have liked pre-set radio stations. But for the money, this radio is pretty good and the red light does help very much in tuning to the stations.

I love this lovely little and could not imagine a radio set at price of $25 makes me so delighted and satisfied. For sure, less and less people are listening to the radio, yet for anyone who still remain addictive to the radio broadcasting this device is a good fit. It is compact and light; sound quality is quite all right; it has no unneeded function. However, I think it makes no harm if Sony turns it into FM receiver only since so few are listening to AM band.

Decent build and speaker quality, cheap materials. Controls are stiff and imprecise but what do you expect for something like this?

Bought this for emergencies such as power outages, but great for everyday use. Picks up radio signals rather well.
