Perfect addition to my Sony BRAVIA THEATER BAR 8

I recently purchased the new BRAVIA Theater Bar 8, and even some reviews say that the bass response of the Soundbar alone is great, it didn't convince me enough, not for my taste so I needed to add a sub. I have read many reviews of the larger SA-SW5 as the best sub option so I was a little skeptical about the SA-SW3. For my surprise, this little fella (well, not too little) really did blow up my expectations. 200 watts of power is good enough for my new place. Set up was really easy, truly plug and play and the frequency response is awesome in my opinion. I am very happy with the SA-SW3 subwoofer, I highly recommended it for small to medium size rooms.

For return of Sony 300 subwoofer

The 200 wireless subwoofer is an awesome product. It works seamlessly with my Sony STR -AN1000 receiver. Easy to pair and calibrate with awesome power. This gives me the sound I have always wanted. It’s paired with my 26 year old Bose Accustomass 10 wired speaker system . Please note you need this wireless sub to properly calibrate your wired Bose system which has an integrated Subwoofer . The one star review is only for the return SA 300 to the Houston Texas Willowbrook Location as it was the size I needed for the amount of money it cost! The CS representative had to get the assistance of his manager who either was familiar with their return policy or she was racially profiling me. I had returned a nearly $1000 Bose sub to a different location earlier that week as you need a Bose sound bar for that to work. The return of the Bose was seamless. Nevertheless, I finally got the right Subwoofer for my system. BB online ordering and delivery is remarkable.

I have the A5000 and rear RS5 speakers running with my 65” A80L. It’s really a great setup with powerful sound. I’m in an apartment, so super booming bass isn’t really an option. I thought I would try the SW3 hoping it wouldn’t be too much and actually, it’s really perfect. When the subwoofer is synched with the A5000 it opens up a wider range of bass control with the remote. I also notice the soundbar definitely seems to focus more on the voice and highs when not having to include bass as well. I’m really happy with it and I got a great open box deal. I think the sale price for a new one is worth it too, I just got lucky. I would definitely recommend this subwoofer.

This little subwoofer makes all the difference!

Sony soundbar systems are pretty good. I mean, everyone has their favorites, but for me, Sony sound systems have always hit high marks. I added one of Sony's HTA3000 soundbars to an upstairs loft area that was smallish in size. For that area, I didn't think I needed tons of sound, but after the setup, I was a bit underwhelmed at the perfomance of the soundbar. That is until I purchased and paired the SA-SW3 Wireless Subwoofer with the existing bar. Wow, what a difference! The highs seemed higher and the lows, well, they were certainly more pronounced. I’m pleasantly surprised at how much this subwoofer has improved the sound of the whole sound system. I highly recommend that you do the same.

Nice that it’s wireless. Easy setup paired with Sony tv and sony soundbar. Not as heavy on the bass as I was expecting but does the job. Would have been nice if price was more competitive. Fits under the tree.

Great for the price, easy setup

Great piece of kit. I use this in my living room and have a SW5 in my bedroom. This SW3 definitely doesn't hit as hard as its big brother, but it does a great job of filling the room with big bass that just helps fill the soundstage of whatever you are watching. Wireless is a huge bonus and it's super easy to connect to most Sony soundbards.

The Sony SA-SW3 200W Subwoofer is an excellent addition to my setup. The bass is deep, powerful, and crystal clear. It completely transforms the listening experience. It pairs seamlessly with the Bravia Theatre Bar (a must-have to unlock its full potential), and the combination makes movies, music, and games feel incredibly immersive. Great product for the price

This is a great sub for the price. Yes, there is better from Sony but it works and this things works VERY WELL. It brings the bass to wherever you put this at. I have it paired with my hta 3000 Sony soundbar and my Sony surround rear speakers all paired to my Bravia 8 tv. Great sub that I recommend if your looking for something that won’t kill your wallet since the soundbar and tv does

Surprising for its size!

Not bad considering its size! I use this with a Bravia 8 soundbar so together it produces plenty of clean sound and deep base for my TV setup in my Livingroom. If I had a dedicated Room for such setup, I would probably want a larger Subwoofer. Quite impressive for it's size and well worth the cost.

Soundbar really needed the subwoofer…fills out the soundscape of movies without the volume jacked up. Great for BT music too. It was kinda pricey tho

Got this little subwoofer from an open box. Subwoofer came and looked brand new. Excellent performance. I live in a condo and it’s not too overpowering and sounds great with my Sony HT-A5000 soundbar and SA-RS3 rear speakers. Overall I’m pretty satisfied.

Need a sony bravia tv 60 inche

Sound bar is extremely good from sony thank you. The was natural and it didn't wash out vocal most important saperation was on pair. The sony character was on the warm side no brite at all the power was very good not forteging. Is this the best i herd no but for the price maybe there are other sound bars and subwoofer that are good but im happy. Thanks best buy.

I initially purchased the Sony Theatre Bar 8 without this subwoofer. I immediately realize I made a mistake. Adding this to my home theatre and TV was a breeze and has made a world of difference in the acoustics of our experience. Highly recommend this subwoofer.

Got this to pair with my Sony Sound Bar, great compliment for the sound bar! Was able to get the $100 off even though I got it a week later after purchasing the Sony SB, Best Buy was great in helping me return the sound bar ( only on paper) so I could get the package deal. Thanks Best Buy!
