So far this Sony Blu-ray player works great for DVD's and Blu-ray discs. No problems with this function, which was my reason for purchasing. The remote control is rather small, but works fine. The box claims it has "various streaming services." I find them to be very limited. Netflix, VUDU, Pandora, and YouTube function. The other ones listed seem to be unavailable. I checked for updates to the system but there are none at this time. ( It does not replace the ROKU.) If you are purchasing it only to play your discs, it is great. Clear, sharp picture with good color.

It was exactly what I needed for DVDs and to have access to some form of free internet TV without paying for cable, nor having a tower antenna installed, or always viewing on my computer screen instead of a nice big TV. Channel selecting and remote action is a little slow and time consuming, you're remote hand with get tire pushing the arrow. Overall it works well, and my even my old DVDs look and play great.

Works for what I need it for. It plays Blu-ray movies and also works with playing regular DVD movies but not the 4K UHD movie discs. Mainly bought it not only for the price but because I’m also a big movie fan and love having the physical copy of movies and shows. Honestly in my opinion, movies that I would see on streaming services that are supposedly 4K come someone what close to that quality for the Blu-ray player. This is based on the settings that I have on my TV.

I purchased this machine because I wanted to view my Blu-ray movies. I like the fact that it can play Blu-ray, DVD, CD, etc. Set up took less than 5 minutes. My Blu-ray and DVD collection is growing every day. However, it doesn't support most streaming apps. It doesnt support disney +, hulu espn +, etc. Only supports what came from the factory. If all you want to do is play discs, then this machine is for you.

My attention to purchase this Sony BDP-BX370 Wi-Fi Blu-ray player is to help extend my PS3 and PS4 gaming units longer. So far after a month of using this player I'm very happy with my purchase. It offers great upscaling on DVD's plus a clear crisp 1080p. Remote is designed perfectly for the palm of my hand. There's a few cons. I really see is that the player itself offers no external buttons. In addition, the app selection isn't the greatest. I did not purchase for the apps anyways. You get quality Sony Blu-ray/CD at a great entry level price point!

This is a wonderful DVR. It has Blue-Rae. It's easy to operate. Small footprint. Looks neat and tidy on my TV console. I bought it to replace a big, clunker VCR that didn't work with my Rocu TV's. This one works well and hooks up easy.

First Blu-Ray player, upgraded from a Sony DVD player, easy to setup, easy to connect to the internet. Big plus that this came with a HDMI cable. Great picture with DVD also, highly recommend!

Good for 80-year-olds who want nothing complicated. Easy to use, even for us. Easy to hide in our limited space. See photo.

Works great replacing a 17 year old Sony blue ray. Much smaller than before It includes Wi-Fi/Ethernet, Downloadable app, and free hdmi cable works well.

This is my first Blu Ray player. It is very small compared to my standard dvd player from 2008! I bought a flat screen TV in 2014, but never had a Blu Ray player. I used my Playstation 3 for that. Not wanting to wear out the drive just to watch a movie, I decided to get this player. I dont use the wifi or streaming function since I own a Roku stick. It does have quite a few of the common apps like Netflix. It is small enough to take on vacation where streaming and wifi would be very helpful!! The build quality is good for being small and mostly plastic. I would allow toddler or young age children to operate the player because of the plastic disc tray! Overall its an excellent player and the remote is very easy to use!! The quality of the video is excellent, no compliments! I highly recommend this player for everyday use! Keep in mind that the player is 1080p max resolution, not 4k. So if your tv isnt 4k, then it is perfect! If it is 4k, your tv will still display as 1080p, unless your tv does upscaling. I was told by the geek squad tech that you will not upscale to full 4k quality but may notice an increase in picture quality overall.

A great Blue Ray player for the price. The picture is very clear. We haven’t tried streaming yet as we CD have a smart TV. It was easy to hook up to our TV and within minutes we were watching a movie!!

Quick and easy setup, compact does not take up a lot of room. Good little Blu-ray player for basic use.

Super easy to set up. Picture looks great. Very intuitive remote controls. Inexpensive but not cheap.

I know a lot of people just do streaming now days, but I still have a lot of things that are only on discs and this was a nice affordable option to continue using those materials

WHO SAYS BLU-RAY IS DEAD…..DON’T BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU HAVEN’T TRIED FOR YOURSELF. SONY IS STILL IN THE GAME AND THEY HAVE THE EXPERIENCE TO DO THINGS RIGHT!!! FOR $65.00 THIS WAS A STEAL!!!!

The DVD player has added so much fun to my days. This is the first DVD player that I have had, other than the player in my previous laptop. This is so much better to be able to watch a DVD on the large tv! The picture is is great! I’m very pleased with the player.

Good Player, streams well, has lots of apps, and features. But, if you have a 4K TV, I recommend the Sony BDP-S6700 with the 4k Upscale feature.
