It provides up to eight hours of operation on two AA batteries, selectable 5/30mW RF output, a 330-foot transmission range, and a wide 72 MHz bandwidth with 2772 UHF frequencies for stable, interference-resistant performance in interviews, presentations, events, and field production. Its dynamic cardioid capsule focuses on the speaker while reducing ambient noise, and the interchangeable capsule design supports over 40 optional capsules for expanded tonal flexibility. Sony’s digital audio processing improves clarity with better transient handling for natural, intelligible speech. NFC Automatic Sync enables instant pairing by holding the transmitter near the receiver, while Auto-Gain prevents overload from fluctuating vocal levels and a +15 dB boost compensates when the mic is farther from the mouth. Manual gain control offers precision when needed. The bright OLED display ensures visibility indoors or outdoors, and DSP filtering reduces noise caused by occupancy sensors.
