A: Online phone swap failed to activate our xperia 10. Activated with VZ support and was told to wait 10 minutes and it will be working. 2 hours kater, cant recieve or make phone calls, texting is buggy, and data works. Hour on the phone with VZ tech and was told to take it to the VZ store about an hour away. Made the trip and the SIM card was replaced and same results, no calls can be made or received. VZ store support seemed inexperienced and never worked on one of these. Was told thats all the store could do and to call Verizon and request tier 2. Waste of time for this "certified" for Verizon phone. Nice device, too bad it wont do phone calls. Good luck if you are trying on VZ... reply here if you get a tech smart enough to make it work.
A: You can swap the SIM without any issues
Q: is that mobile has a single ou dual sim cards Tks
A: The Xperia 10 is a single sim card. I was confused too. The Xperia xz2 has dual sim.
Q: What is included in the box with your purchase?
A: Charger and Instruction Manuals
Q: can I use this with carrier TRACFONE?
A: Yes, you can use this with Tracfone.
Q: Does this phone work with Verizon carrier?
A: Yes, with exceptions. The XPERIA 10 will work with Verizon 4G service. As of now, Verizon does still rely on outdated CDMA towers (Not supported by this device) for voice and text functions in some areas but is moving to a 100% GSM network in January 2020.
Q: is this work with straight talk plans ?
A: Yes. The XPERIA 10 is GSM/4G LTE, meaning that it will indeed work with Straight Talk wireless. Just use your current micro-sim or purchase a "Bring your own phone" kit from Straight Talk.
Q: Does the Sony Xperia 1 send and receive videos without it being compressed?
A: It depends on how large the file is and how you attempt to send it. If it is a large video clip, it will be too large to send via MMS, as would be the case with any other device. The difference is in which carrier you have. Some carriers will automatically upload the full resolution file to a server and will send the recipient a download link, creating a smooth process for sharing uncompressed videos. However, some carriers outright do not support this feature (Such as T-Mobile USA). In that case, it would be suggested to send the full resolution video to the recipient VIA email or file share. I hope this helps.
