The game is actually really good. I had a fun time making characters and playing against people online. Its almost as good as Soul Calibur 2.

Game fun , have a few matches love the special effects. I love that each fighter has different weapons. Recommend for sure and it is a great value. I don't have time to play anymore but this is a game I load up quickly and play for awhile.

After a good half day of knocking on the fighting engine, it feels good. I felt the high point was SC2, 3 and 4 were good but, lacked something. While I 100% completed SC1 and SC2, I fell out of playing 3 and 4 after a few hours. This doesn't feel quite as difficult to recommend. The gameplay runs well, the controls are tight, and the match load times aren't bad. The basic additions to the game include the reverse edge mechanics and a gage mechanic. In my limited game play against the AI, I don't find it overpowering nor cheap. The game play looks good, provides a nice clash mechanic, and I like it. The visuals are quick to parse and provide the relative info about the attack type. Lightning effects or Fire effects indicate specific attack types. The bad includes a troubling tendency to slice a fighting game into pieces and reselling it a character at a time. Day 1 DLC has no real place in the market and should be abolished. Tira was a built in character in 3 on and they only cut her to make for a pre-order/season pass bonus. In short, a good fighting game marred by marketing and with some interesting additions to a solid fighting system.

While Soul Calibur V was met with a less then stellar reception, that impact was taken to heart for Soul Calibur VI. Adding Geralt from The Witcher series of games as a playable character out of the box, the game shows it took its prior criticism and made a positive out of it. The game is graphically stunning, with fast movement and lots of customization options. There is also a season pass that adds more characters including 2B from Nier Automata.

Back in the day I used to love fighting games, but as I've gotten older I find I don't enjoy them as much as I used to, likely because I play more single-player games these days, but SC6 is a gorgeous game and the controls are spot on. Definitely worth picking up if you are a fighting game fan

The SoulCalibur series basically peaked with 2 and 3 and have slowly gone downhill from there. It's like they haven't figured out how to make new compelling single player content and are too afraid to go back to what works. 5 in particular was just awful, replacing almost the entire cast with a less than compelling crew. Which brings us to 6, which is a retelling of the events from the first SoulCalibur game, yet strangely includes characters that weren't introduced until later entries like Zasalamel, and guest starring Geralt from The Witcher. The combat feels great, and the single player content is okay, but it still feels like something is missing. Also, the roster feels small compared to previous entries and they have the gall to ask you to buy a $30 season pass for three characters with the intent to introduce a new season later. Overall, the game is fine, but not at full price.

I've played soul caliber for years and it just keeps getting better! The graphics, gameplay and new characters are amazing. Was happy to play as Geralt from the witcher. Game is amazing in 4k!!

Always been a fan of this series, really good graphics, great fighting system but big downside is long load times.

SC 6 offers variety in spades. From the look of your character to the activities to play in, it's customizable to the tilt. The Witcher cameo is spot on and is even voiced by the same actor from the series. My only gripe is the randomness of the opponent's difficulty as it can be frustrating at times. Still this game is easily worth the price of admission and will keep you entertained for hours.

I'm pretty bad at online games, so when a fighting game comes out I check for the depth of single-player modes, and SoulCalbur VI has the richest single-player experience for a fighting game since Injustice 2. Two satisfying story modes, and an amazingly versatile character creator make this a must-buy. I love the graphics and while the controls are a little harder to parse than Injustice, it's still relatively simple to pick up and play. I'm really excited for the upcoming DLC characters!

This is the Soul Calibur you know and love. The combat is just as deep and refined and the character roster is top notch. There's plenty of single player and multiplayer modes to choose from and the graphics are amazing. Shout out to the awesome guest characters Geralt & 2B as well. I did have to subtract a star though because they locked Tira behind a pay wall. Lame.

Soul Calibur Vl is one of the greatest graphical fighting games. With new fighting mechanics that even the newest gamer or less experience gamer can pull off combos. The game has stunning graphics and multiple characters to choose from and and newer characters added with cool combos! Of their own. Can't get over how beautiful the game looks you won't be disappointed with soul Calibur Vl . A must-buy

I haven't played a Soul Calibur game since the older titles on Dreamcast and then GameCube. The series has become more robust and has a decent number of characters and great looking graphics. The addition of the character creator seems to be the biggest change in this game where you can take assets from other fighters and create your own for limitless possibilities.

It's a good soul calibur game. I can't tell too much of a difference between this one and the last one, but it's still fun. They have new mechanics in the game to break down armor and a couple of new characters, but other than that not much has changed for this series.
